I know there are a few companies out there making some new/unique towels.  Didn't see anything discussing or summarizing what people are using and who is out there?  What are you using?  Any favorites or new companies?

I have both honestly for different situations.  Club glove stays on my bag 24/7 but I use a caddy towel when I ride cause I can throw it over the windshield and not worry about it flying away. Can't go wrong with either.

I've always just bought the Gatorade branded towels from Dick's (or similar sporting goods store). They are cheap, fairly durable, and a good size for a golf towel. I don't really mind the G logo on it but I know some people would hate that.

Personally I've never been a big fan of the microfiber ones. I feel like they end up repelling water so it's tough to keep it wet enough to wipe down clubs and balls.

I have the club glove towel on my bag and like it. It does a good job cleaning balls and clubs. One issue I have to figure out is how to make easier to attach and remove quickly. Right now, it can't be done that easily. Other towels seem to offer an easier method.

I think towels are very different per person and what they want and need. I know people that use a bath towel, just want something to clean clubs, no matter how dirty it gets. I know other people that want designer towels but keep another to no get the one dirty. I am a designer guy that gets that towel dirty, it is a towel.

I'm using an Uther at the moment.

The design is certainly fresh and turns quite a few heads on and off the course.

It's much thinner than most of the golf towels out there, but it does the job of cleaning the clubs and balls.

I'd recommend it to any golfers out there.

Cheers

Great customizable options.  Quick shipping.  Great towel.

I designed one of these for a Christmas gift a few years ago. I love it, but probably wouldn’t have paid $40-50 it cost if I was buying it for myself. Went with a black towel, and I’d highly recommend going with a dark color if this is the route you go.

I can't justify $20 or more for a towel that is going to be scraping the mud and crud off my clubs.  I've got three of the Oxfords and they have lasted four seasons so far, so my towel expenditure has been a buck ninty-four per year.

these towels are awesome and are very similar to the cayce towels(although not as soft but who cares).  got one i use for clubs and the other to wipe off sweat in the heat.

I really like the microfiber "Greens towels" you can get on Amazon in a 3 pack for $10-$12. I have 8 of them in various colors and I use a new one for every round. Get it wet and use it for my ball/clubs then have another bigger dry towel for my face/hands etc. It's nice having the two separate towels, one wet and one dry I've found. I've got a few different bigger ones that I cycle through including a Titleist one, a Ping one, one from Torrey Pines, and a TXG one (that's huge btw).

Driver: Ping G425 LST 9º (at 8º) Accra TZ5 65 M5

3 Wood: Taylormade SIM Ti 15º Accra TZ5 75 M5

3i/4i: Srixon Z785 Nippon Modus 120X (4i 1º weak)

5i-PW: Srixon Z-Forged Modus 120X

50º/54º/60º: Cleveland RTX 4 (Mid Bounce) Modus 120X (50º/54º) & DG TI S400 (60º)

Putter: Scotty Cameron Special Select Squareback 2 (33.75", 70º lie, 2.5º loft)

Thanks for starting this page.  I def have a habit of overlooking the the towels I use on the course.  I have a Maxfli towel that I stumbled upon at Dick’s years ago......microfiber one one side and waffle weave on the other. Biggest problem is that it’s a bit too long and touches the ground when I deploy the stand or put it on my push cart.

I’ll check out a few of these links and some of the towels that others suggested.

This is basically what every boutique is using and selling for $25 after some customization.

I keep mine on the club (5 wood) I use the least.  Then it can stay there for most of the round.

About 2 months ago I got a Ghost Golf caddy towel. It was a little expensive but it has been the best towel I've ever used.

I'm thinking of trying one for this summer over your normal club log towels. Glad to hear it's worth the price.

It's strange, I don't use my towel that much, only to dry a ball that has been cleaned. I can't remember the last time I took a towel from my cart to the green?

regrettably, it seems JP likes some of the nike ones but they no longer make them. now he tends to buy one from a course he's travelled to and liked, and the towel isnt too offensive looking...there's a lot of fail however

mostly he's just sad about the options... 😞

wish he wasnt so fracking persnickety

I've given up on "golf" towels. Almost all are too small and dry out too fast in our arid conditions. I'm in the camp of using the cheapest bath towels you can get from Walmart (the Ikea towel above is the same idea.) I have a few in dark colors - gray, brown.

I keep one end wet for cleaning clubs and golf balls, and the other dry and relatively clean for my hands, if needed.
