You are correct. I got so tired of Faldo and Nance I cut the sound off about hole 15 and watched in silence. I have been playing and watching golf long enough I do not need their babble to know what is going on

I have to chuckle at all the people (players and ex players, and Xander even in this situation) saying how they would never touch the ball before calling over an official. 
 

One of the most well thought of people on tour, Rory, just proved that that is not the case.

Except those clearly aren't the same situation but carry on making yourself look foolish. Rory let everyone around him know what was happening and everyone agreed to the situation before he touched the ball. That is not what happened with the cheater.
