It would be an interesting experiment to calculate the time lag between Kuchar's hands passing the ball in the through-stroke and the putter then striking it.

 

I'm guessing the results would be measured in minutes.

Why does Bettinardi always struggle with adjustable weights? Like they always put it on top where no one wants it.

Maybe they’re worried about the coefficient of friction of the weights on the bottom 😉

Or if you take Odyssey's concept, you can use that indention to allow the white alignment line underneath to be visible. This would mean you are directly over the center of the putter. 

 

It could also be shoddy workmanship and a complete accident........

Actually I've seen that before as an extra alignment aid. If you can see the flange line inside that notch the putter is square. There are a few other small features you can do with an alignment aid to show a flaw in setup.

Just an alignment aid like Rife and Slotline used to use. Never liked it, but then again I hate flange lines.

Kuch has used that cutout for alignment and it believe it came from a rife putter he gamed earlier. Most of just four issues will have that.  Now the weights on top, not sure I’m down with those.
