Too much talent on tour.  Anyone can have a great week and win a major although the ones that usually win it are the ones that are mentally tough IMO.  Kid's got the fire power to win a major that's for sure.

Because I have seen him play and he has all the shots in his bag. I have seen him out drive DJ and beat Tiger.  When his putter is on he can win any tournament he is in. Oh and he is a Great Human Being! Kids only 24 and has loads of talent!

 

FYI.......I am also a YJS fan and said something had changed in his game the week he won the Valero!

Winning majors is insanely hard.  Even most HOF golfers are winning 1 or 2 over the course of decades so if you told me any player is going to win one over the next three years I'm taking no; even if the name is DJ, Rory.  Of guys who are non-major winners Rahm is the one guy who'd I say is almost certain to eventually win a major barring injury; maybe Xander.  Westwood has 40 something worldwide wins and is likely to never win a major.

 

Talented young players like Burns are definitely capable.  Its why the Fowler thing always bothered me.  Good players are not destined to be future major winners.  They could be future major winners but it's only the really elite talents like Rahm that I think really justify the it's not if, it's when type of discussion.

Doug Pederson offered him the starting QB position in the 9th grade at Calvary Baptist. He turned him down to play golf with David Tom’s son. Doug went own to win Super Bowls and Sam has now won on the PGA. Crazy how athletic he is!

Looks like the kid could possibly win this week at TPC Craig Ranch.  Very solid off the tee and his putter is on fire.  180 ball speed is no joke.  Rooting for him to win tomorrow.
