Finally saw them all today. The LST looks much better than I expected. I still think they should have faded the carbon and not have the line but it is much less distracting than I thought. The 3 wood is also a beauty. Somehow it looks smaller than the 425 but it isn’t. The fitter told me the 3 wood is lower spin than the Max 425. In between the Max and LST from last year. He played the LST last year and couldn’t get close to the same numbers with the 425 Max. He is easily playing the 430 Max this year and spin isn’t an issue.

I hit the G430 Max today. Wow.
 

I split last season between the Cobra LTDx LS and Rogue LS. I fully assumed I’d be a LST. Lucky for me someone else was testing it so I grabbed the Max. 
 

Everyone knows Pings are forgiving. I always assumed that was due to head size etc. However, for my swing the famous Ping forgiveness showed up in the form of significantly reduced side spin. Several shots were under 100rpm, which all but eliminated my big sweeping misses. Now I could hit baby draws and fades without fear of major misses.
 

The new found confidence allowed me to swing as fast as I wanted without fear of a three off the tee situation. Ball speed was a bit slower and spin a bit too high a 9*, but dropping the loft unlocked another gear. I was getting the ball speed and carry of my gamers, but with dramatically improved dispersion. 
 

Im going in for a full fit and I’m excited to give Ping my money. As far as I’m concerned they earned it.

This was my experience with the G425 Max. The sound was awful … but when I put the 9 degree head in the -1* flat setting, and reduced the head weight by just 3 grams, it was a night-and-day difference and I could really just go at it. Hit some of my longest drives ever with that set-up. I ordered a G430 Max because I’m excited to tinker with it and figure out what set-up really unlocks its potential too.

Has anyone compared the Kai'Li White vs. the Tour Black?  If so, what if any differences did you notice?

I hit the g430 max today with your tour black 65.  Felt solid. I did drop to fade setting then started hit it off the heel. Not sure why?  Club felt very good. I’m excited to try the kaili white but the black May be hard to beat. I did hit the hybrid as well but with cb shaft and it was super forgiving and felt solid. May be the brand of the year.

Black is more stout and lower spin.

That's really interesting. I didn't get to hit the Max yet, but the LST for me at least was higher spinning than I thought it was going to be and he got the same results.

Not that I’ve seen. Have 65 in my driver and 75 in fairways.

Most of his drives with the LST were blown way right and he reported excessive spin, as expected. "Harder to miss left", lol.

G430 Max set with weight on toe and flat setting is one of the most anti left drivers I have ever played. 
 

I can’t believe Ping made a driver easier to hit than the G425 Max.  Love that company!!!

Yeah it's up there in hotness with the Stealth standard as well based on Michael Newton head to head. Better dispersion as well

 

 

So glad Ping fixed the sound... now to convince my buddy to upgrade his 425 Max... 🤔🙃

I haven’t bought a driver at release date for over 10 years at least.  I’m getting the G430 Max as soon as it’s released.  This driver is that good.

Took my G430 max to the range with both TR blue and red to test. Started with Red and was diving the center of the face. After about 10 shots switched to the blue. Felt like I could absolutely rip at the ball but contact seemed to suffer and move all over the face. Switched back to Red and contact went central again. Time after time total yardage was between 290 and 300 on a 20 degree day here in Wisconsin. 
 

This may be the most consistent all over the face driver I’ve ever hit. Ball just does not hook or slice. Sound is beyond incredible compared to the 425. If this isn’t top 3 in drivers for the year I’d be completely shocked.
