I had the Rogue ST.  Replaced it with a TSi2 and then a Stealth Plus.  Went back to the TSi2.  Sold the Rouge ST to get the TSR2.

When I talk to folks at our two major golf shops here in Utah, all of the fitters say folks came in wanting a stealth but left with a Rogue. It's either true or there's some interesting Callaway rep stuff going on?

I only saw one Rogue ST driver in play last year.  Out of new drivers I noticed in peoples bags, seemed to be either a Stealth or a LTDx.  Obviously it doesn't speak to the larger picture.  Just a small slice of the market segment.

I liked the Rogue ST.  It was better than the Epics.  But the Rogue ST just didn’t generate anything of memorable for me.  My boys didn’t think it generated drives that stood out,  The Rogue ST is definitely more forgiving than any of the Stealths, which is why people who couldn’t hit the Stealths bought the Rogue ST.  Also, notice how TaylorMade made Stealth 2s more forgiving and is using “FAR-giving” as their tag line for 2023.

 

I would play the Paradym if I can get it dialed in.  Right now, the Paradym’s and Stealth 2s can hit it far.  But the distances are similar to my TSR2, and the TSR2 is so much more consistent.  The blue bowling ball look of Paradym kind of bothers me.  If I can dial the Paradym in, I would customize it to black colors.

I'll be honest too. I'm really curious about the paradym slider weight and the 3d with the heavy weight back...gonna test them later thos week.

It's all anecdotal evidence.  Not necessarily the accurate stats.  There are more Mercedes' than Fords in my neighborhood, therefore there must be more Mercedes' than Fords on the road across the country.

I’ve watched most of the new driver videos over the last few days. Seems like all the new ones are basically the same as the model before except the new triple D seems to have the largest gains.

The TD is the one I’m looking forward to the most.  Also seeing a ton of people complaining about the price point of the Paradym and today the Stealth 2 Plus came out and it’s at even a higher price point $629 I believe is what I saw.

I don’t get the craziness that some people have with the name of a driver.  Who cares as long as it performs.  I remember people going nuts for Rocketballz and it sold like hotcakes.  But man oh man people went ballistic on the name and then they bought 2 or 3 of them.  Lol

Yeah, name and colors or how the bottom looks. 

 

I couldn't care less. I loved saying litdixels last year. 

 

Shape at address..biggest thing for me. It could be called Shape Helping Inverted Triangle and I'd game it if it improved over my current.

I agree. I don’t understand it. I can’t look back and think of the name of a single golf club that made any incredibly positive or negative impression on me or made me want to buy their club. You could name a driver the “Fart-smeller 500” and if I hit it on a rope on every tee shot, I’d buy it.

what I dont understand is why the Big Bertha isnt in this conversation yet? Not that it matters but Callaway must think it is special because it is $100 more then the Paradym. Explain that

posted this in the Aerojet thread, but got to hit the 💎💎💎 and AJ LS today.

The Rogue ST(any head) launched and spun way more than other heads last year, so didn’t play it, and played the LTD LS much of year.  The paradym was way better and easily something I could play. 
 

Give slight edge on looks to the AJ, but the paradym felt & sounded better. Pretty flat and felt very fast. 
 

Had the 8° turned down to 7° and just took off! 
 

Paradym sits a bit flatter on the heal with a little different shaping. Neither bad, just different.

Im sure these new Paradym drivers are nice but so was the Rogue's and the Epic (except for the green color) I don't care for the shape of the new drivers too stretched out as I liked the Rogues shape better. I do like how Callaway has a 50% more for your trade in soon after new releases but is that how they boost up their sales in order to keep up with TM

Probably the same 150% as always, sent as an email to rewards members first and then to the general public a few months after.

I disagree about it just being a new paint job. It has a very different sound and feel from the previous generation Rogue ST and Epic Max drivers that preceded it. It also has a different shape. As many have said the Rogue ST had a much more extended front to back.

Everyone I've heard and seen that was fit for it (as opposed to just randomly picking up a demo/fitting unit and hitting it) has seen an increase in ball speed over the previous generation drivers.

 

I agree about it looking like a deep navy that looks really nice in person, and that it doesn't look the more green or yellow (as you say) that has been shown in pictures and videos.

 

People potentially interested in it should get fit for it instead of trusting reviewers that weren't properly fit for it.

I should’ve specified. The standard and the X are very different, the Triple Diamond is much less so. Familiar headshape in a new color. That’s what I was referring to as it’s what I fit into. Excited about 8 degree starting like I said though!

I normally get it a couple of days before pre order but so far nothing. I spoke to Cole a little bit ago and he still has not been told anything he can repeat. 

 

Also the new stull not shipping until Feb 24th or so I guess there is no hurry to place the order, I am just getting stock shafts and then put in my GD shafts after giving them a test run to be sure the stock shafts are not better. Which is a stretch as the GD shafts have proven themselves time after time in Cally heads.

The Paradym is GGGGOOOORGEOUS!!! Pictures don’t do it justice at all…it might be the most beautiful Golf club I’ve ever seen!! 😍😍😍

I got to see and hit the Paradym and X today indoors. It's a very good looking driver, but not any different than anything else out there. It is very dark when looking down at it. 

 

While difficult to really tell, I do think I liked the sound and feel of the X better than the regular and it was no different than my gamer Epic Speed in that I hit about 50% of my drives well.
