Putters Your favorite putter grip(s) of the last 5-10 years?

Always hearing about new and novel grips but my local B&M's can only carry so many.  So I'm curious, over the last 5-10 years, which grips have been your favorite gamers? Also of the grips you haven't used which one's would you like to get your hands on to try?

Since I play various models of the Ping Anser and Scotty Cameron Newport putters, I stick with their standard grips which are pretty close to each other in size and shape.  The only change I perform is to install two wraps of tape on all of them.  Just seems to fit me better.  I've briefly tried the large grips in the stores and don't like the feel and shape.

I have been playing Super Stroke (SS) for years, that said, just last season re-gripped my Toulon with the Garsen Quad Tour grip and I don't think I am going back, feel, fit, and alignment are just great...my other putters have SS and feel great as well, but this Garsen changed my confidence on my putting game...

Golf Pride Tour Classic is what I use on my gamer.

 

I have a Garsen Quad Tour that I'd like to try at some point ((likely on a different putter).

Garsen Quad Tour and Garsen Max are my favorite. Max feels great for how I hold the club but it is a little on the thicker side. Quad Tour for me is the best combination of size and feel and not that it matters but they seem to be gaining quite the tour following especially on the LPGA (which is the tour I should probably taking my equipment cues from).

Standard Ping rubber grip (Tiger's). Brief run with the SS 1.0  lately its the standard Iomic grip. Can't see changing again, thinner is better for me.

I love the pistolero plus. That "axe handle" just feels perfect in my hands. Wish i could find something similar that could be had for cheaper. I want to try throwing a few wraps under it to thicken it up a hair but don't feel like paying 40-50 bucks and don't have an air compressor to blow mine off

 I love this in the 90g weight. Been playing it since they came out.

There are a couple of others I like: Pro only Green star, the firm 75cc version of the Tour SNSR Contour Pro and the Lamkin Deep Etched

Loving my Gripmaster FL27. Similar to a superstroke in shape but made out of leather. Has the right amount of tack and feels great in the hands. Been absolutely rolling the rock with my current setup; never even think twice about the grip, it's that natural feeling to me; just as it should be.

I also use the pistolero plus and it's the best. If you have a golf shop by you they can pull the grip off, add 2-3 wraps of tape under the bottom hand and reinstall, should only cost like $3-$5.

Have you also tried the non cord deep etched? I like the deep etched, but the edges are hard edges. In pictures it looks as if the deep etched had a bit more rounded edges. If so, I may switch to the cord version.

I’ve tried both.  The cord version feels slippery in my hands so I always go back to the standard.  Many people prefer the cord version however.

Yes I have. I do not like the non cord as much. I do think the the corded version has more rounded edges which I like as well. But that could be in my head, but in my opinion the cord definitely gives it a different feel.

Have been a fan of the SS Pistol GT Tour for a few years.   I ordered a Lab Link1 stock and worried about the 94g rubber and D4 swingweight not being comfortable.  I ordered a Garson Quad Tour from Amazon.ca that came in today.   Look forward to trying it.
