    13 post, WRX's is slipping.

I have to own up, he was my first thought when I read the thread title, the second was Jack. Too easy some times.

I felt like it was my duty...

This swing belongs in the louvre....more art than sport..

His tempo, even when going after a drive, was flawless...
A more perfect reverse C has never existed....
His swing was always the same length but the rhythm varied from very slow to hammering it...

This is the quintessential old school swing Jack created...
Monty’s dad was secretary at Royal Troon and Monty had access to the old BBC reels, unedited...
And he swung as his idols did....Tony Jacklin, Jack, Johnny Miller, Weiskopf....

And Monty’s was the most beautiful ever imho

Doesn't exactly fit the question, but I also miss seeing Payne Stewart play.

Couple of years back I saw Charlie for the first time in Vegas. First thing I thought was he's nowhere near as heavy as her appears on TV. Actually looked rather fit. Much more on the solid side than fat. Came across as a good dude.

Old Rocco he is a good dude. I met him quite a few years back while banging around on the mini tours in South Florida. trust me he is as funny and hyper in person as he is on TV

    Tommy Two-Gloves Gainey

Old Tommy that is another good one--- He has sorta been out of action the last few years with a wrist injury. He is from up the road from me in Bishopville SC. I remember back before his Big Break days he was playing and hustling some up the road in the Charlotte NC Gastonia NC area. A buddy of mine called from Charlotte to tell me "if this kid shows up at the beach with a butt ugly swing wearing 2 baseball gloves do not play him he will clean your clock" He cleaned out a few wallets here and up in Columbia SC but not mine. Beat some darn good Coastal NC and SC players. Man he could hit it a mile and putt too. I figured with that warning I did not need to tangle with him and I did not

Seeing him was kinda scary... I got the vibes of ”squeal like a Pig” when I saw that swing. Good guy in interviews and so, but that swing was creepy.

It was one violent golf swing and IMHO I think that was how he tore his wrist up--- What amazed me about him was that violent swing but such a precise touch around the greens
