Just received my SC Phantom X5, with heavier weights (20g x 2). The sight line on the top is really helpful for easy alignment. Will see if it performs as good as it looks 🙂

The 20 of us along with Kevin and his son Brendan got together on a zoom meeting and in chat rooms to figure out how this putter would be made along with the head cover. .  Since there were 20 of us, it was decided that the only marking on it that noted the 20 putters was the 20 under the cup of the plumbers neck.  That way we all had 1/20 and there wouldn't be a thing about who had #1 or #20 of 20.  Paint fill, face millings, stampings, sight lines/dots, sound slot and head weights were all up to the individual buyer.  I'm pretty simple and wanted something similar to what I saw years ago.  Below is my putter.  The last picture is the Nike Prototype Kevin Burns made for Nike. 

 

This was one of my most amazing collaborations in making a custom putter I've ever had!

 

 

Definitely a cool putter and story, plus you finally got one. Kevin did do a lot of cool prototype putters for several brands and usually much nicer than what these brands went with in the end.

After a brief and tumultuous but ultimately unfulfilling love affair with my Evnroll ER2B, I've just ordered a LAB DF 2.1. $1000+ AUD - for something that will be tough to move on in my specs if I don't like it.

 

I still feel kind of sick, to be honest.

My first custom putter! Maybe even my last putter? Time will see on that but love how it came out. 
 

Brandon Matthews No 1, Carbon Steel with Oil Can finish. Definitely more of a very dark brown in person, plan to let it age a little bit into a more patina look.

Im not much of a blade guy, but damn that looks amazing. I would happily struggle and 3 putt all day with that lol.
