where did you get those ferrules?

Not brand new but new to me. Titleist 917D3 with a Fujikura Speeder 74 and 917F3 a Diamana 80 x5ct. Coming from a Tommy Armour Beta Ti driver and an original Callaway Big Bertha Warbird 3 wood, these should be quite an upgrade. Best news of all is that I got both woods, headcovers, and tool for $214.

Cell-parts.net I can't remember the cost. Around $20.00 for 12 ferrules.

I lucked out and found a "Tour Only" glued hosel Callaway Epic 3w with Aldila Rogue 125 MSI 70x and a Rogue SZ with Tour ADTP 6x at the local shop. Pretty sweet set ups on both.

 

 

I also decided to add a little "bling" to my MP18s with some custom ferrules.

LGS had a Boxing Week sale going on, needed some grips so took a short drive down. I've officially retired the Oversive grip experiment so picked up a set of standard sized grips at a good price. My Ping G25's, Tour Gorges, and a few others are now going to be my vacation clubs, residing at my pop's place for play in the summer.

 

Picked up a new backup iron set, an 8/10 set of Wilson Staff PI5's. With a little elbow grease and some medium grit sandpaper, managed to take off much of the tarnish and grime from the irons. Still have to finish them off with some extra-fine sanding and some Brasso polish, but they are looking very good. Also bonus was that i was able to give the grips some sanding to restore the tackiness so I dont have to expense on grips right away.

 

Finally, picked up a pair of Adidas adicross bounce shoes. Had been looking for a pair of non-white shoes, since my other primary pairs are white, so opted for the olive green vs. the white/blue.

 

Been a mild winter so far, hoping for a mild rest of winter so we can get out there quickly in the spring. Happy New Years to all you WRXers

Was gaming a 9* G400 set at 8* with a UST Proforce V2 66g stiff. Great driver, but I was actually hitting this TEE further than I do the G400 on this course. The TEE looks like it's less than 460 from the top and the face looks pretty flat... has a little different look but it flat out performs as good as anything, better in this case for me. Needs more time but after the first round, I'm pretty psyched.

 

Pics aren't the best, sorry for that... but hopefully you get an idea. The regular G400 looks bigger, just more stretched back..

Took me 4 years to find them, the fellow forgot he had them. He bought them new played them a few rounds and put them away. He just recently realized he had them and decided to sell them. Right place right time.
