Only have one returned the others they keep chipping

Been in the bag for almost a year now. Obviously have added the sight lines (I had the T line before DJ pulled it out at the TOC). Best mallet putter on the market!

 

How’s the face holding up with regard to paint chipping?

 

 

I've got maybe one small knick on the toe side and thats about it. I would just recommend keeping the head cover on while it's in the bag:)

I'm getting the T sightline added to my spider tour by ClubChampion for $40-ish. They said they would need to ship it out to their HQ. Just an option if you guys also want it.

Just bought a black, will be my second go round with one... first time I really liked the feel but longer putts were giving me issues...

 

Went in to my local store last week and was casually putting with one... was making everything, of course. Figured it was time to give it another try. If I can just get the speed on longer putts down, it may just bench all my Scotty’s....

I have had JD for awhile and it has chipped a bunch and I take care of my stuff very well. Just a fact on this beast. I don’t care! It makes everything!

What wrench does the red need? My buddy bought one without a wrench and his M2 wrench doesnt fit.

The old wrench that was used to change the weights in the r7 driver works fine in mine.

Is anybody able to change the loft and lie with the slant neck? I brought my old one to 2 different places and nobody would touch it. Seeing as I'm 2* upright and -1* on loft... I can't have a proper fit. I'm slightly considering going for a tour red once the new sight lines get released. It's still the most stable feeling putter I've owned... Just wasn't a fan of the feel... But I guess I could get used to it.

 

Edit, it's released but now curious about the Arc Tour...Combined the best of both worlds with the "2 ball" line up but it's a negative ball, and still get aim lines. Plus... much easier bent.

Only the red in CS? That sucks... I also kind of like these putters without the sight lines.. There is enough for me in the design to help line it up and I like the crown being clean. But, a black CS would definitely have me interested....

I spoke to the TM rep yesterday (at the Farmers Insurance) who was by the new Spider putters on the practice green and asked about why all the displayed putters were red. He said that TM is pushing hard on the color red and that black is not their main focus. They said they still have the Spider Tour Black for sale but will not have a heavy focus. Having tried both, I'm more partial to black but I guess the mass audience has gravitated more to the red.

It requires a slightly smaller star shaped screwdriver, that’s all. I had to buy one from Ace Hardware for $5, no big deal.

Golf Galaxy adjusted my twice with no problems. Not sure why anyone won’t do it for yiu.

Just rolled my first plumber's neck model today at PGATSS (in silver - there weren't any reds). Not bad, not bad at all.

 

I wasn't crazy about the JD insert though as I always preferred the slightly firmer DJ insert.

 

But I understand there's a little less toe hang with the plumber's neck as opposed to the flange and since I prefer a face balanced putter that's a good thing.

 

May trade my DJ model in for it but it'll take a bit more trial (and error) to decide.
