1. McCord

2. Zooming in while the putt tracks towards the hole eliminating player and crowd reactions

3. I don't want to see a single putt inside 4ft unless its on the 72nd hole and matters

4. any type of camera view that attempts to follow the ball through the sky. Use Top tracer and give us a wide angle shot.

5. sundays - where even fewer golf shots are shown as it seems the coverage feels they are limited to showing the final two groups and no one else. we don't need to see the leader on hole 7 read his 3 foot putt while others players still capable of winning are on the course hitting shots.

I'd rather listen to Madonna songs while waiting on line at DMV for 3 hours than hear Mccord voice.

McCord is obviously trying too hard with Feherty gone.....

Spieth is the greatest putter of the game.... so sick of hearing that, because it’s completely false. Some no name guy is number one at putting. Spieth isn’t isnt even in the top 100. He had a great year in 2015, and the broadcasts seem stuck in time they can’t stop talking as if it’s 2015.

Peter Kostis. It always seems like he reliving last weeks tournament. A lot of WTF moments when watching him. Almost as bad as Joe Buck.

Cannot stand him and his swing analysis. “Here you can see Justin Thomas’ left pinky finger, that nail is trimmed short and causes him to grip too

lightly. His good friend Jordan Spieth does this too. This flattens his backswing a degree or two underplane. He over corrects by lifting his right foot an extra millimeter, his head drops and there you have it - a wedge that flew too far, spun too much and is now next to the hole. He really got away with one there Nick.”

Yes, it's quite easy to pontificate on the swing fault that caused the errant shot. I would like to see him identify the fault, and WITHOUT seeing where the ball went, tell us where it went. That might produce entertaining results.

A lot of pages in this thread so forgive me if this one has been mentioned already...

Par 3. Player A hits his shot and as it lands on the green, you can see another ball already on the green.

Then the announcer will say "And earlier, this was player B's shot" and then they show player B hitting his shot when we already know exactly where it's going to end up because we just freaking saw it on the green.

Why not just show B first and then A? Would that make too much sense?

My other one is the obligatory sponsor interview with some president or CEO. That's basically a bathroom break.

I assume they are always trying to show the most "live" shots that they can?...just in case it's a great shot or god-forbid a HIO

Then they would get killed on social media "Network X didn't show this shot live!"...they would then be showing 2 replay shots - instead of 1 live + 1 replay?

That's all I've got...

Their use of, from right to left or left to right. Why not just, to the left or to the right?

Because that would be a pull or a push. Most hit a shape that starts one way and comes back. Not a left going left shot. Etc.

That's definitely why they do it. Personally, I'd rather see two shots that are slightly delayed with an element of surprise for both of them.

This thread gets me thinking --- do TV executives ever conduct any sort of focus groups to find out what the heck viewers really want to see? Ratings are everything, so it seems they would want to seek the input of their viewers. Heck, just reading through this thread could improve the broadcasts to some degree.

Do not like when they make random bs excuses for bad shots!!!!!! If its a crap shot just say Boy he sucked on that one...we all understand golf is far from perfect even for pros!!

While same guys last 50 great shots weren't effected by his back surgery from 5 years ago but the bad one was haha....

Can't figure how to like my own posts

Gary McCord. Anything Gary McCord. Listening to him, seeing him, just knowing that he may at anytime add an incredibly stupid remark.

Also. While I like Phil... constant coverage of Phil (or TIger for that matter) when they are 8 shots out of the lead.

Not enough DJ when he is winning.

Too much putting.

I'd like to see more toursauce from some guys and less from others. For example, Hideki being Hideki is annoying to me - I'd rather not watch him play even though I admit he is world class. On the other hand, I find it funny and somehow entertaining when Justin Thomas gets a little saucy on the course. He bombs one 15 yards over the green and checks and rechecks his yardage book with a puzzled look on his face; I want to start doing that with my Saturday group. I don't even have a yardage book but I want a little booklet or something in my back pocket to refer to after a bad shot. I want toursauce and I don't want toursauce. For the record, I don't like when Spyth gets saucy either.

Anytime McCord starts speaking I'd rather he didn't.

Less putting - I agree with that.

Shows us some hozzel rockets, some Sherman tanks, some shanks ect... we know their out there.

I'd could think of plenty more but this is what I got right now.

I see all the McCord comments, don't really notice him on the TV broadcasts, but his voice on Sirius is unbearable. Sounds like someone having alot of problems on the toilet.
