Things that bug me while watching pro golf.

What bugs me is that they don't show enough golf. I don't need to see the commentators to know what they're talking about. I'd rather watch as many players as possible, with the occasional weigh-in from a commentator.

The absolutely most irritating is when they comment on how horrible a lie is and how it's going to be impossible to hit the green, and then they knock it to 3 feet. Like 90% of the time they knock it to three feet.

Players uncontrolled balling during their press conference ... especially over nothing i.e.Jason Day or freaking Snedecker after his Masters meltdown a few years back. At least, Phil doesn't cry during his never ending weekly crisis.

 

Announcers acting stunned when a player shoots 74 after shooting 65 the day before.

 

Announcers hacks like Tricio talking about their own golf game ... Please we really don't care

CBS aside Nance, when he isn't pulling for boy pals like Snedecker or Spieth. McCord should write a response to this post. I think he is funny as hell when he gets bored, as we do, with telecast. Don't miss Feherty, good during the Masters, just isn't that funny anymore.

Got one to add, pga tour players not shouting fore in the hopes it bounces off a spectator back towards a better spot, then signing a glove after they hit someone and injure them. A ball to the head is no joke and this behaviour shows a serious lack of any concern for others safety and wellbeing.

Imagine not shouting fore in your weekly comp then taking off your glove and signing it for the person you hit hah you would be turfed out of the club.

I don't disagree with much of the list, but Paige could absolutely work almost all of the posters on this board when she was 17 years old. To suggest that she can't talk golf is uneducated at best. She can.
