Lol. Yea. I noticed that after. I remembered it being $1329 or something similar. It’s $1399 for sure. But still cheaper and faster. Especially if In canada and maybe you have a pal in the us ?

Ping prices are all standard. They can strip a seller's ability to sell if they go below the recommended price. Discount Dan has had this done

I think dans accomplishes it by giving free shipping at times , us pickup options for out of country buyers etc. if ping had pulled their sales privilege they wouldn’t still be taking orders.

they got their privilege back...and they charge shipping for ping orders. you pay every dime when it comes to ping equipment unless you are fortunate to be on staff or PUD...if they do PUD.

Ping did pull DD account years ago, but they finally got it back. People would come on here and post the price they got from DD, and Ping must have seen it.

Finally saw these at PGA Superstore today. Gorgeous. Love looks and finish. They are small. Compared to the 718mb and very similar in size. Got to hit 7 iron a couple times. Not enough to give feedback, but definitely will consider getting these. Play the S55 now and might keep 4 & 5 iron and go 6-pw in Blueprint.

Mine just came in, so since I’m having tour velvets plus4’s put on them, decided to have all woods and my Srixon forged/785’s regripped with same, so pick up tomorrow, up til now been 2 weeks no rain, now won’t stop, so perfect time. Also looks like since getting pings newest, I guess I can give their other new baby a look ?! It’s like Scotty Cameron & taylormade had a baby.

As Blade slowly changes to an all ping bag...I have a leather Driver and old school 3W headcover if you need them for the 410's ;)

I’ll never get to all ping. My old girl putter isn’t likely to go anywhere. Too much sentimental reasoning and it just fits my eye too good. ( and it’s hot at the moment ). Lol. I sometimes rotate something else In. But it’s proven to just be a reset of the mind.

 

And this driver and 3 wood are sitting in concrete. Something would have to blow me away. That’s how good I hit this m6 combo.

Why? To pay the same price as everywhere else, but instead have it be out of state, instead of your local shop?

I'm all for eBay, Amazon, etc..., but if there are no 'deals' to be had there is zero reason to not go to your local reputable shop.

Idk, most local shops are big box stores with people who have no clue what they are doing and cant even tell you the basic upcharge shafts....at least in my experience. DD can do it ALL for custom orders and they know what they are doing. Just my opinion and experience.

I agree with you if you have a local shop like i do. If all you have is a big box ? May as well order from a good place. I’m finding out how rare my shop is.

It’s called loyalty. I buy all my stuff through DDs, love their customer service along with their pricing. I could care less if they cannot discount Ping stuff or not. It’s the same with PXG too.

One reason I like going through Continental Golf they’re competitive on prices and anything you want done to your club you leave it and it gets done, and that goes for the blue Loctite on the screws, two to 4 too many of those falling out so not taking a chance .

No sales tax is a bonus, but also I don't really trust big box stores to get all of the specs communicated clearly to the manufacturer.

Fair enough. If it wasn't obvious in the use of 'reputable' I wasn't referring to a big box store.

I guess I've been fortunate enough to live in a couple areas that have excellent small shops owned and operated by folks who really know there stuff and have good options available for trying before buying.
