Titleist PT 3 wood with an S300 shaft. I was given it on a try before you buy basis...kept it a week and it was thank you and good night. I had no business even thinking that I was good enough to play with it.

You're playing stiff flex, right chisag?

In R flex, I find that Modus 3 105s play very similar to Aldila NV Pro 105s.

I don't like S flex because I don't feel the clubhead position as well.

Not sure what it was, on paper I should have really liked it, but it just never clicked. I haven't heard of anyone who has really liked it and gamed one.

Odyssey O-Works 7 I believe. Lasted one absolutely atrocious putting round. Switched putters the next day and immediately felt better. It just wasn't a good fit despite rolling it well in store and throughout the demo.

I've posted about these in similar threads. I am a serial equipment ho for sure and definitely switch clubs much faster than I should normally, but this takes the cake for me. My worst was a Bettinardi big square thing, whose name escapes me. I put a SuperStroke Flatso 5.0 on it and promptly missed every putt I looked at. The head was way too light and it was almost too stable in the sense that wherever the face was pointed the ball went, there was no mini-gear effect at all. It never even saw the course, I just putted with it for a week on my rug and missed everything with it, so back it went less the $30 SS charge. Runner up was a set of Adams Tech A4 forged irons. I was coming off of a set of MacGregor NVG2 Mid irons that I just adored (imagine a 15 year old set of Mizuno Hot Metal Pros and you have a good picture). They were long, super forgiving, and I just felt in control of them, however, the WRX'r in me told me I needed smaller and forged and the Adams were getting decent reviews. I hit them okay in the sim and bought the set. I used them two rounds and begged the manager to take them back and I would order something more expensive in place of them. They had the same shafts as my MacGs that I sold but I just couldn't get along with them. The Ping G15s I got after the Adams were a mild improvement until I bit the bullet and rebought the NVG2s.

Set of Mizuno MP-33's played one round , i think i managed to hit all of them including the 4 iron i can still feel reverberating up my arms.

I got drawn into the shiny how amazing they look before i knew much about irons.

Picked them up from shop saturday, played sunday , back in shop sunday PM to swap for some MP60's that i never should have sold !

Usually I tend to keep things around for a while. But, I did purchase a T-MB that lasted 1 range session, 3 balls maybe... and I was done with it... I have never gotten along with DG shafts, as I've learned through many trials... but I thought this would be different. Sold my set of Srixon 545's after 2 rounds because of the shafts

Ordered a set of Sterling One-Length irons last fall. The morning they came, I opened the box and held every one in the address position. Did not like what I saw, boxed them back up and listed them on the BST. Sold them within 30 minutes and shipped them that afternoon.

Did not even sniff my golf bag.

I am a WRX'r.

I once had a Sonartec fairway wood which made it as far as hole 9 in my first round with it. I pulled up my eBay account at the turn and had it sold by the time I finished the round...

Taylormade MG2 and Hi-Toe Wedges. One range session maybe 3-5 balls a piece. They're huge!!! Blade length from heel to toe is way too big for my taste.

Same experience for me with the F9 fairways. Mine lasted one range session, maybe 20 balls. Short, spinny and just bad!
