Wow, I've been a member for 15 years!!

Just noticed this morning that it's been 15 years since I joined GolfWRX. Where did all the time and my favorite golf clubs go?

I joined GolfWRX on one of founder's invitation not long after it's startup and have enjoyed reading the threads almost every day. I recalled that I'm member #49.

Nice! I’ve been around since ‘07. Just toasted myself the other day when I made the platinum tees. Read a lot, but don’t always post. GolfWRX is daily reading for me and is fixed in my tabs. Testament to the website and its staff!

Congrats! If I had known this place was around I wouldn't have wasted time at another site before coming here.

If I had joined in 2005 I'd either be north of 30,000 posts by now or been banned by 2007!

Something about unexpressed thoughts my wife likes to advise me on. ;-)

I joined in July of 2005 when I started taking WITB photos on Tour for Golfwrx.com (I was doing the same thing over on BSquad before then). The site had an issue with cyber attacks in 2011 and they thought maybe my account had been compromised so they canceled my account and started a new one for me. Sadly they couldn't give me back my original join date.

I remember BSG, I left that forum and joined over here in June of 2005. I left BSG cause Todd and crew were going off their rocker, and their scams and misinformation to bilk people out of money grew tiresome. This place has had integrity and has really developed into a reputable media company over the years.

Yeah, BSG wasn't sure they wanted to pay me to continue covering PGA Tournaments. Richard was more than willing to pay me to cover the PGA Tour, so I made the move over. I worked for him for 5 years before I ever met him in person.

 

A few more months and it will be 15 years.

I'm glad you're working for Richard because I really enjoyed your work.

Now, I never liked talking bad things about other sites or owners but BSG does have lot of good members that I enjoyed interacting with. It was that "power outage" that did it for me.

Been here since 2005 as well. Also on Golfopinions and BSG. I really enjoyed BSG back in the day and looking back thru it all, I stayed way too long there before I came here. My golf buddy told me about Wrx but I held off joining for another 6 months before I finally did.

Another April 2005er myself. Came over from the Golfopinions board back in the day. I was member #246, was a softmore in high school back in NY. 15 years later I’m married with a big boy job and a dog. Cheers to GolfWRX’s staying power!

Man you have a good memory! Yeah, I left as I picked up Cycling. After a few of my friends ended up in ICU after getting hit by cars, I decided to sell the bike and get back to what I love. No regrets.

14 years in June and still have not tired of viewing almost every day. Mostly good guys on this site and the mods do a great job. It has certainly helped with my sanity the last 6 weeks. I sure miss the tournament photos !
