Oh man, truly to each his own because I love the bounce in the 60. Enough heel relief to open it up but also enough bounce to be lethal from the sand.

The new iron they teased recently on the gram looks really good. Looks to be a zero offset blade..

I gotta say I love my 902’s I just picked up. The 4 iron makes me wish they made a 3. I hit the short irons as good as I do my baby blades, with easy to hit long irons. Add to that they feel amazing. I wasn’t sure about the wedge, but tried the 54 (bent to 55) tri weight and that has been great. Will be ordering the lob wedge to partner up with it. Add to that Eric is great to work with. So happy I took the plunge.

Anyone know what are the main differences between the M and Tri-weight wedges? Is one more forgiving than the other?

Got my 902's with KBS Tour in. Great combo.

Build quality is perfection. Love the attention to detail. Played a practice round today looks and feel are awesome.

Performance is up there will all the players distance irons, glad I decided to go this route. Can't beat the bang for the buck.

Played my second round with the 902s today, shot 79 mistet due to many lip outs. Gutta say, I am in love with them! Totally agree with @etrichards , wish they made a 3 iron. Really curious to see if the 623 can knock the 902s out of the bag.

I ordered my set of 902s on a Monday and they shipped that Tuesday. This was with custom loft, lie, and length adjustments. NL didn’t have the grip color I wanted so they threw them in loose for me (was able to trade for what I wanted at my local shop). Coming from a blended set of forged irons, these have the same solid feel but a straighter and more forgiving flight. I went on a limb with DG S400 shafts (from S300) and couldn’t be happier. $110/club for this head/shaft combo is an absolute steal.

Yeah, just trying not to bug people in busy times.Β  Realistically I could bag 7-PW anyways (which they sell) and still run an 8 club setup.Β  Β  I'm okay if I have a gap up near 200 vs the 180 down to 140 rangeΒ

Recently been in the hunt for irons since my gamer set is pitted in the short irons. Every time I check players cb everywhere it’s 1000 plus, but I saw these at 700 or so with my shaft And it’s hard not to pull the trigger!!! They look great and the reviews are amazing. If I can’t find a mint set of big boy brands I’m gonna have to go with these

has anyone tried the 623m compared to other blades?Β  I currently play Srixon Z-Forged and I'm considering switching but I hear a lot about the 623's being a club or so shorter than others since they tend to launch a little higher and spin a bit more......but that's also possible if people aren't quite hitting them well or comparing them to clubs like the p790 which are stupid long.Β  For example, the Not allowed because of spam test compared it to a bunch of stronger lofted cavity backs so it's not really a fair comparison.

Β

On a side note....can anyone compare the PF1's to any other blade on the market?Β  Looks great from the pics but the blade also looks very small.Β  I prefer a little longer heel/toe like the Z-Forged.Β  Β Any help is appreciated....hard to find a whole lot online about the clubs.

Ironically I just bought a set of 623 M's and hit the Srixon Z forged today. Overall very similar across the board, I think the 623 Ms feel softer on a flushed shot and are more forgiving though.Β

Anyone have any experience with the PF2’s? I just ordered a set on a whim during the Black Friday sale. Live in NY so won’t get to play them anytime soon. I’m coming callaway apex 19’s and before that blades. As I have started a family the amount of golf I play has suffered.Β Β While I loved the distance gains of the Apex it really didn’t equate to lower scores. This is a lot of background for a fairly simple question.
Β

Does anyone’s experience allow them to compare distances between these two sets? I am willing to take a hit in distance for more workability but need to adjust my gapping at both ends of the bag to accommodate it. If they are a half club shorter I can adjust some lofts but if they are a full club shorter than the apex I need to rethink the make up of my wedges to accommodate this.Β

Currently playing apex CF19 and have been looking into this company and the 902 for a few months. Interested in giving them a shot, but concerned if I don’t love the resell would be tough. Comparing to my current Apex19 does anyone have any input. I shoot 81-85 consistently (would be lower if I worked on putting) so think these would be a great fit. Love testing new products and think these sound great. Just curious if they will actually be of any difference or will be very similar to my current gamers.Β

i’ve only played Apex Pros (2014) because I’ve never lovedΒ the feel of the Apex. Certainly CF19 Apex feels solidΒ but but not my favorite. I enjoyed the β€˜14 Pros.

Β

The 902s are outstanding irons,Β entirely forged and then CNC milled, which isΒ different construction from the standard Apex with the forged body and the welded steel faces. The Apex may be a little longer, I really can’t say but they’re designed to be, though I find the 902 to give great carry. Blade lengthΒ is likely similar but different shape. The 902 will let you get away with contact that’s a little thin, still goes the distance. The milled pockets also seem to boost forgiveness.Β If you value a sweet, forged iron feel at impact, the 902 delivers that.Β
Β

Will they perform very differently? I wouldn’t think so but they won’t play the same or feel the same. Irons to me are mostly about what you like and how well you can aim them, how they look to you from address, etc. With any set you’reΒ trying to hit shots a certain distance as consistently as possible and many designsΒ can get the job done. But your preferences are a strong factor in regards toΒ confidence and it all works together. I can tell you the 902s are very precise and really suit my eye. They are also easy to hit half- and three-quarter shots with.Β The more I play them the more I like them.Β
