I thought I had was it was RDX and AV Blue. I’ve read the Motore X will be offered with Cobra, but haven’t seen anything on that for SIM2.

TM was the first to offer that up, that I recall, way back in the mid 2000s. The r7 quad I think was the first one. Ping's first foray into mwt was a screw that could be taken off and put into 1 of 3 spots. The only other mwt that didn't involve a sliding weight are the front/back systems on nearly every model and the surefit cg method from titleist.

Owned it. Made me a speeder fan. Always had a problem with the back weight halfway popping out after a drive. Always had to check and get the weight popped back in. Good driver. But fool's gold compared to models starting with the M series...

A buddy of mine bought this club in 8.5° when it came out. He thought he was 150% baller! Deep faced cannon ball driver headed driver bliss! Only problem was he couldn’t hit the thing in the air. Everything was a head high line drive. He stuck with it the entire season. LOL, silly bugger couldn’t bring himself to admit it was not the club for him.

Right now, I am staring at my backup driver in my office which is the SFTP. No speed slot or weights - just PURE as an snowflake in winter. One of the very best & fastest driver Taylormade ever made

Went on to the TaylorMade Canada site to see what SIM Max was going for and went through their customizing process, then once I got to the end it said the Driver head wouldn’t ship until 3/26/21??! Are you guys dealing with the same delays from TaylorMade in the States? That’s crazy!!

Nope. Went through the selections to customize and ship date at the end was 12/28.

Hmm, weird...I wonder why there’s such a huge delay here. The shaft they recommended would ship on 12/30, the grip would be 1/30, and the head would be 3/26! 
 

I get there would be more inventory there in the States with the higher population and TaylorMade being based in Cali, but you would think TM Canada could still pull extra inventory from the States if they’re that low... 🤔

I think the answer is right in your post. They don’t have anything but the shaft on hand. Right now I’d think acquiring additional old or outgoing product inventory makes little sense white the next line 3-4 weeks from pre-order.

No for sure, I was just curious to see what their custom options were and what are the costs through their site, but yes I’m waiting to try out the 2021 stuff before buying anything.

I played a 9.5 with a fubuki tour 73, honestly never hit a driver further and more consistently.  I probably should dig it out of the pile and game it again.

The upcharge shaft options here in europe have been very limited for previous releases would be nice if atleast the real deal ventus shafts where available at an upcharge

Supply challenges I can believe for sure.

 

I  stop by the golf shop a LOT. Maybe 2 or 3 months ago they had a single set of P770s on the wall. Haven't seen another set yet. Same goes for a number of other TM iron sets.
