Buddy, I’ve had 3 sets of MP18 built all over the map. I didn’t come on here and bitz and moan over it. 
My shop sent it back until it was right, and gave me balls on top of it for the errors. 
They also expedited the 3rd order so it came in 3 days.

So had my fair share of OEM karma. 
It happened before C-19, and will continue to long after they get caught up.

Fair enough.  But these guys aren’t dealing with small shops for this issue.

Going from 9º M6 with Even Flow white 6.5 60 gram tipped 1" and .5" short, so basically a bone stock SIm 2 9º with Smoke RDX Blue 60 gram tipped .5" stock length. Really looking forward to the combo. M6 treated me extremely well. Looking forward to seeing what Sim 2 can do for me.

Anyone else order just a stock setup?  I really only wanted the head so I pulled the trigger on a stock 8* SIM.  The site said in stock so i was curious on ship time on those.  It said I should expect it by Friday but I’d be surprised if that happened.

I ordered a 8 degree head on 1/21 and it hasn’t shipped yet. But I’m in the mid atlantic and in no real rush to get it.

Thanks.  I know all custom orders ship from Carlsbad, and all “Stock” items usually come from a warehouse in Indiana.  Guess we’ll see.

Curious on the difference in deciding to tip the RDX Blue only 0.5” vs the EV White?

It would be awesome if going forwards the original forum on a club release was limited to discussion of testing results and specs of the club ordered by members, and a second forum was created for people to discuss / complain about logistics of ordering the club...

 

That way people who don’t care about logistical problems wouldn’t have to wade through all of those posts to hear about members’ experience actually hitting the club.

Same thing happened when the new TaylorMade irons were released last year. The forum needs better moderation IMO. Posts get too sidetracked and a mod needs to step in and navigate the discussion back towards the original topic.

I don't really have an answer for that. Occasionally, I was a little hooky / pully with the setup I had. I occasionally countered it with toe side lead tape or a drop in loft. I ultimately settled on the M6 with a few grams of lead tape dead center in the front of the sole right by the face and had a really deadly combination of low launch and low spin with a a relatively neutral flight. I went with the new combo on the Sim 2 to get back to a stock length but wanted to firm up the torque a little. 

Excited to play in. And, if i I wanna, I can mess with the EF white in my Sim 2 or the Smoke Blue RDX in my M6.

Seeing as the official release date is tomorrow I think those that ordered should start to see some shipping notifications 

 

I ordered SIM2 max 9* and SIM2 max 16.5* both with HZRDUS Smoke Blue RDX tipped additional .5"

Both shipped Monday and will arrive tomorrow!

oh wow that sucks! what did you order?? maybe a shaft delay or grip. Last year I ordered something with a z-cord align and after waiting weeks with no progress I finally called and found out that was the hold up

I ordered a custom Sim2 on release date and it shipped last evening, scheduled for delivery tomororw.  Shipping companies currently not delivering in my area due to the weather, maybe tomorrow they will though!

Just got Sim2 Max 9 degree head with Ventus Black 6S. Looks great. Ordered at 44.75". Looks like they did match the swing weight as the head is 205 grams, which I absolutely love. Can't wait for the snow to stop and to get out on the course.

I hit the 9* Sim2 with stock Kuro 60g stiff yesterday & was extremely impressed with the feel of driver. Hit soft little fades to dead straight with it. 95- 100 mph swings, as I was wearing winter boots. It was just such a nice soft feel. The exact same review with G425 stock stiff Alta 9*. These 2 drivers were almost the same. Performance the same, with the ping having just a slightly softer feel. The  ONLY difference I experienced between  the 2 was sound. I also hit the 9* Epic Max with 60g stiff MMT. I COULD NOT HIT THAT DRIVER! IT WAS WAY TOO LIGHT! I switched to the EPIC max LS with 70g MMT x flex and it gave me the same ball flights as the others, but added 10 yards total distance.  The Callaway drivers are light, & much harder for me to square the face cuz I loose where the head is due to weight. I also hit the Sim2 max 3wood with stiff 60gram ventus blue. This fairway wood is SO easy to hit off the floor. I think I finally found the fairway metal that will dethrone my original Epics.

My darn MySim2 has been stuck w Fedex since last Thursday due to this carzy front that has left Texas trying to sacrifice virgins to the Sun God's so we can get some normalcy back again. 😭

Ordered from GG on 1/21 and have not been charged yet. All I have is the GG tracking UI, and it says "Preparing for Shipment" and "In Process" under the two "Status" fields, respectively. 

 

Not gonna bug anyone until I see what happens on general ship day, 2/19. When I called GG weeks ago to specify the tipping situation on the Ventus, they said TM was already building the club so no changes could be made. So I feel like it should either be shipped on/around 2/19, or I should still be able to specify the tipping. 

 

We shall see.
