He beat the average score by 1 stroke. Average score was 67 and there was an 80 and some high 70s in there.  He looks old and washed up to me swinging 110 mph like he is trying to not get hurt. It is what it looks like to me.

How many times has he won since Brandel said he would never win again because of his "broken mind"?  LOL, once Tiger proved him wrong it only took a few years (lol) and Brandel finally dove headfirst onto the bandwagon.

 

And he pretty much is toast right now, but no surprise there.  The odd and unexpected win will be fun -- I will say in the meantime I'm just as happy not to see his ordinary shots if he isn't in contention on a weekend.

Phil is 7-under through 8... Finally keeping the ball in play off the tee. Yesterday he hit 10/13 fairways, but the misses included 3 out of bounds. Putting well at 8th in the field.
