$21 dozen is a great deal. I may have to drive to my local GG and pick up a few dozen.

It can be hit or miss trying to get DSG/GG to honor online promo codes at a brick and mortar location.  Since the code is working now, it would probably be less of a hassle to order online.  You can always select in-store pickup to avoid shipping.

Thanks. That is exactly what I was planning to do. Order online and do store pickup.

As a side note, by some Xmas miracle, I played 36 holes with the same 2019 matte white tour X.

It was pretty dirty at the end but once cleaned up looked just short of brand new. Just one minor scuff from my usual nonsense of trees, cart paths and sand traps.

Second 18 golfed alone and played 2 balls, the second being a 2019 pro v1x. And I'd have to say, cutting through a 10-15 mph wind, the maxfli was better. Pleasantly surprised but your mileage may vary.

Looking forward to giving the 2021 gloss white a run.

That’s what I did at Cascade Station GG. Walked in, they had my order ready, showed ID and was outta there.

That is where I will be picking up my order today. I have not been there for a couple of years. Are the hitting bays still open?

Your user name led me to think you were in the Portland area. I don’t think the bays are open. I’ve been there a few times over the past couple months and haven’t seen anyone hitting in them. With our current weather pattern indoor golf is about the only option.

On their site they mention you can rent their bays. A few weeks ago I called to make an appointment and they told he no due to the number of fittings they are doing. I will ask when I go in today. I'm surprised the Portland area does not have many options for indoor golf.

Okay I’m going to blame all of you if these MaxFlis don’t perform. Got 4 dozen coming but probably won’t get to play until Late March. You got about 3 month to feel comfortable before I come after all you with my number 2 pencil arms …. Lol

The overall quality and performance of the Maxfli tour level balls can't be beat IMO when bought on promotions such as this or the "2 for whatever" deals they have.  I played both the original Tour and TourX models when they came out and thought they were very good.  Just yesterday in awful conditions I took out some of the previous model UFli Speeds that I still have some stock of and frankly had forgotten how good of a ball that was/is.  Just picked up 4 more dozen of the Tour's on this current promotion.

Even without this promotion, their recent introduction of the 48 pack (online only) for $105 looks to be a pretty good deal.  I still haven't tried the 2021 models though.

I for whatever reason could not make the promo code work. I ordered the 48 for $105. Not the best deal at DSG, but not bad.

We need GG and DSG to have an online Canadian presence.  I'd be all over these golf balls then

Yeah well there's a cold front passing through the greater Houston area currently and Sunday was a cold, wet, windy nasty day.  So I decided to play golf, natch.  Wind was howling 20+, temps were around 50* but atmospherics made it feel more like 30 with the wind.  It was frankly very unpleasant.

The course I played has a generous amount of water and I thought, I might lose a couple today and didn't want to take an expensive ball out.  Have a few dozen of the UFli's left so out I went with those.  And I was very impressed with its performance in those conditions.  Held its line pretty well and the best thing about it was I had several shots I needed to knock down into the wind and it worked really well there.  In that for say a 130 shot w/a 7i I could say "this is the weight of shot required" and I was getting that exact distance.  So it was very predictable and consistent and no real surprises.

I find the UFli to be a well balanced ball, the previous generation Tour spins too much for me although for the price I over look the occasional short chip shot.

I just left GG with my order. I checked their in store pricing for the Maxfli Tour and Tour X and they are 2 dozen for $60. Glad I purchased these online. Thanks again for the heads up on the great deal 🙂

2 for $60 is their everyday price.  They probably had to turn that off online temporarily to get the promo code to work.  That's still the price at DSG online and will probably return to GG online after the promo period is over.  2 for $45 is still the price for 2019 Maxfli Tour online and in stores but looks like supplies on that have dwindled and it's mostly just the matte green left.

I’m very comfortable you will be very satisfied with your purchase.  I don’t know how even the lowest hc could distinguish this ball from a prov1.  I’m single digit and may very well choose the Maxfli over prov1, even at the same price.

Discount code is not working for me, it's a sign that I have enough balls for the season.
