Super easy to launch. The face has a fairway wood face and the ball comes off hot. You can really feel it. Not sure of speed but I am about 120-123 with a driver.

I would pull the trigger but waiting for one Golfwrx’er to post thoughts on comparing the 225s and 921 HMP. I’m concerned with all the talk about the heads being smaller than the MP20 HMB. The 921 HMPs are near perfect but I love the muscle back look of the 225s.  Here’s hoping.

Amazing numbers - how does it feel? Older models were not awesome, IMO...

I think they blend extremely well. I didn’t lol close at the finish. But I recall them being the same or close enough to call it the same. I think the 223 is the most different in finish. I think the foresaw people blending the 225 and 221 so the matched them closely.

This combo looks awesome… 

I’ll definitely consider a similar combo! 
 

But I’m a bit scared about the 221 in the 8-PW if I find the center of the face 😄 

 

But will also definitely try the metalwoods from Mizuno! 
 

Wedges are clear, T22 looks insane. I had recently a fitting for some Vokey SM8 but due to the long delivery times I didn’t ordered them… let’s see how the T22s feels!

So my thoughts after 2 hours with Mizuno rep on the range. 

 

Hit all the new MP line and they look even better in person and predictably felt and performed beautifully. However, not much difference between my MP 20 MMCs so I'm sticking with those. 

 

I also play a HL ST190 driver, which I love. But I know my spin rate is way too high and I'm losing distance. I was getting an average of 3600 with current setup.

 

I hit the new ST driver with multiple shafts and we were able to get my spin down by almost 1000 on average.  That increased my carry by an average of 20 yards and I'm sure my roll out will improve a bunch as well. 

 

So I will be ordering a new ST driver with Fujikura Motore X shaft.

Not sure what other things are new in the list here:

in the list of available shafts. I think I'll still go with the recoil 95s, but its good to see some more options.  If only they had the UST Wedge shafts too.

Vosh, Product Manager with Miz, jas said that the MP 223 are smaller than the MMC.  From PicsI have seen, it is hard to see the difference.

 

do you have an opinion on whether the 223 are materially smaller in size than MMC?

My rep says the 223 is smaller than the current MMC and larger than the 921 Tour throughout the set. Here’s Mizuno’s measurements. Not much in it!

Should be their live today, but no indication of it yet. Been waiting on it myself. I don't live or die with their opinions on clubs, but I definitely want to wait on their thoughts on these before I preorder them. Some of the stuff I've seen in this thread are super promising, but again, I do want their opinions on these.

Bummer. Was looking forward to it all weekend. I knew they said their live this week was going to be the new stuff, but I just assumed it was going to be Monday. Guess that old saying about assuming is correct.
