Driving Iron with .370 hoses??????

Can anyone tell me of driving irons you can buy with .370 hosel?

The Taylormade DHY is .370, and I assume the UDI is as well.

Correct. SIM UDI is .370. I used to play one, but fell in love with a 7 wood.

I reamed an iron out to fit the 370 shaft. You don’t want to shave the shaft down and golfworks has a bit that will ream to the correct size

Are you looking for only the major OEMs? I just ordered a Dynacraft driving iron. Has a hollow body with a forged face. I have no idea how it will perform but they go for pennies so I took the plunge. Very cheap experiment.

(Are the Titleist U510 or U500 .370?)

 

Maybe the old original X Utility from Callaway? I think even thats .370 but I cant remember.

My iron set has parallel tip hosels, so I had my 4i refitted with a SteelFiber 780 HLS hybrid shaft.

 

It is now my driving iron. Also, it makes a good club for off the fairway, especially for shots into the wind.

 

If you can find a parallel tip SGI or GI 3i or 4i, you can transform it into a driving iron with hybrid shaft.

I have a VTS silver 100hx hybrid shaft with .370 tip that won’t fit into the srixon zx .355 driving iron. Looking for a head it would fit into.

I think that the G400 crossover and the PXG are .370 - I have reshafted both with .370 shafts (Ping Tour, Evenflow Blue and a couple of UST Mamiya shafts) with no issues.

The U510 is not - I had to shave my Ventus Blue hybrid shaft to fit.

Just have it installed with someone who knows what they are doing. Most of the shafts put in the u500 (.355 tip) are hybrid shafts (.370).

Stopped into shop tonight all Titleist, Srixon, and Callaway were all .355 size.  Running out of options.  I did see a P790 4 iron that was .370 but concerned about swing weight with using a much heavier shaft. Also, was hoping for more of a driving iron.  I don't like wider soles so may be SOOL.  I did see the 2021 New Level utility has a .370 hosel diameter.

Ping G410 crossover is .370 too.

Just taper your shaft to .355 as already stated.  This is common practice for many hybrid shafts and will not affect the shaft in any way.  No sense in limiting your selection of clubs when you can taper the shaft in just seconds.
