Toulon 2022?

Kinda expected to see a new Toulon or two by now, since last major update was when they went to full diamond milled face. Anyone know if that brand will be absorbed by Odyssey completely or will they continue as a family of putters, filling the milled niche for Odyssey?  
 

main reason I ask is you can no longer order a Las Vegas H7 from their site, which surprised me. Just shows $0 for price. I wanted to extend mine but consensus seems to be that you cannot due to counter weight plug. I wanted to custom order the right length, but can’t. Wondering if it will get an update?

They're currently prepping for a Fall release of the updated models.  It'll be a full revamp (e.g. new face pattern, tweaked head shapes, etc.).

If they come out with a Spider/PXG Operator shape, they’ll have my money !!

You can extend the shaft. Just pull the grip, pull the weight, add the right extension and put the weight back in. There are some threads on how to pull the weight. Hardest part is finding an extension the weight will fit in.

That’s what I’ve heard, apparently the butt diameter is kinda weird

How do the faces on these compare to other milled faces out there?  I want to try one, but prefer a softer face.

This is definitely on the softer side. It’s basically a deep milled style but with diamonds instead of brush marks. I find it soft as anything I have ever putted with, actually put a firmer grip on it to offset it once the stock one wore out. Although the different style grip was more because the you can’t get a replacement stock model, so this was the only grip that was same size.

Check Callaway Pre-Owned sometimes they come in and they sell them cheap.

I thought they were already completely consumed by Odyssey ? They stoped the garage and put the ugly circle logo on all recent "Toulons".

 

I think they will either re-release the older popular models, or perhaps bring one or two out. 

 

Currently, they're doing the limited release small batch putters, which are just Garage painted versions of the popular models.

 

Look towards E-bay if you're looking for one of the non sale models.

Kinda, but it's slightly different.

 

No. 7 has more rounded cutout on back flange, longer and more angled fangs, along with straight topline.

Hopefully they just go to a standard fly milled face and drop the weight on the sole. Not sure why you want to weight in the middle of the putter and not the heel and the toe.

Agree. The small batch Santa Monica is like that so there is some small hope they’ll be like that.

Funny you should say that, I actually do have one coming. I was surprised when I got the phone call. I will probably end up flipping it unless I can’t resist using it. I’m not a huge sight dot fan though.

The Portland is a small mallet interesting that it looked like a 9 style. Do you have pics?

Just picked up a Toulon Austin today and super sweet blade. Will follow along to see what the 2022 version is like
