All three are amazing achievements and i would stay 2 of the 3 will not be touched.  I do believe there will be someone years from now will get to 15 majors but missed cuts and 3 AM's will not be touched.     I dont think anyone will touch 142 cuts EVER again!     The number 1 in the world discussion in today's game is a complete joke but back in the Tiger day - there was zero question about who was number 1 and then rest of the field.

The greatest achievement in my eyes is the overall impact he had on golf in general.   He is the "PGA Tour needle" - hands down.

I think if somebody gets 15 majors they would be playing at such a consistently elite level that they could challenge the cuts made record for sure.

Thats been the issue with the Rory’s, BKs, Spieths. They can put together a couple of years of playing like…TW played for a straight decade! Lol

But, you could be right. I just looked at Rory and Spieth and even in all the years they had great seasons, Rory had one season without missing a cut. Spieth never had one.,

You should break it down more. Like:

In 1 week

In 1 season

In his entire career

What he did at Pebble Beach in the US Open, winning by like 15 strokes and being the only guy under par (-12) was to me otherworldly.

I don't know what Jack's biggest win was in a major (by how many strokes), but I don't think he ever lapped the field by 15 strokes or whatever it was.

Over time i feel like his weeks at #1 might be as impressive as anything. He has twice as much as the next closest challenger (Greg Norman)

....And Norman has twice as much as HIS next closest challenger.

To put that in perspective---Dustin Johnson , who is 3rd. Would need to be #1 for roughly 11 years straight to catch Tiger.

100% agree, every once in a while I will see it pop up and still be star struck at how wild that is.. NEVER had anyone just be that dominant.

What's in the bag:

Gotta love it. Make a little joke (based on fact) and even add “calm down. I kid, I kid. 😊” and @CaptainPat @SamboRoll are still “confused”. 😜

I’m glad that you are happy with yourself. I just found that ”joke” tacky and offensive. More like an insult disguised as a joke.

Haha. I mean seriously. That was a long time ago and I bet Tiger has reflected on that time of his life and learned from it. I’d be willing to bet the joke I told would even get a little smirk out of him… Just a joke. Life’s too short. Lighten up people.

* But I also find Ricky Gervais at the Oscars funny. Prob offensive to some 🤷🏼‍♂️

Looking at how all the young guns seem to fade with injuries after a few majors, I'm going to go with continued domination despite many known and probably a few unknown injuries.  Collin Morikawa wins 2 majors and then his back acts up and he's looking pretty average.  BK has been hurting.  JDay, etc.  Seems to me like bodies are falling apart and each next big thing drops a few notches.  Still playing well but not dominating.

The young guns are suffering the same fate as Woods, just seemingly having more serious injuries happen earlier in their careers. The human body is not designed to take the kind of demands the violent swings of today's players place on it. Add to that the extreme training regimen that is required to make that happen and you do not have a recipe for a long career. In the case of Woods some of his injuries were self-inflicted from either training mishaps or off-course bad decisions i.e. the Navy Seals foolishness, while others were due simply to wear and tear from his golf swing. In retrospect it is remarkable that he lasted as long as he did.

I just keep coming back to the 2008 U.S. Open, so that’s my answer.

Epic win for sure.

The 2000 US Open at Pebble stands out to me. Winning a US Open (any major) by 15 strokes. It doesn’t even sound plausible. And in ‘97 winning the Masters by 12 strokes at only 21 years old. Just wow🤯

https://www.golfdigest.com/story/tiger-woods-professional-debut-ten-things-you-might-not-have-known-or-remembered/amp?__twitter_impression=true

Tiger Woods professional debut: 10 things you might not have known:

1. En route via a commercial airline from home in Orange County, Calif., to Portland, Ore., for his final amateur event, Woods turned to his father and said, “I’m never flying coach again.” Indeed, the day after his U.S. Amateur victory, he had a corporate jet standing by to take him to Milwaukee. Suffice it to say, he was right.

2. In Milwaukee, Woods paid for dinner one night with a gift certificate he had received upon his arrival. A day later, when Woods and his instructor Butch Harmon were driving to Brown Deer Park Golf Course in the Milwaukee suburb of Glendale, Wis., Butch asked him whether he had his checkbook, so he could pay the $100 entry fee. “Butch, I don’t have $100,” he said, despite having already signed a $40 million contract with Nike. Harmon floated him a loan. Later, Woods said, “I haven’t seen a penny yet. I haven’t seen any check in the mail yet. I’m still broke.”

3. Nike sent Woods several bags stuffed with shirts and pants. At his locker at Brown Deer Park, he found four new Titleist golf gloves and three dozen Titleist Tour balata balls. He was giddy. “He was like a 10-year-old dropped into the middle of Toys 'R' Us,” Harmon said
