From what I’ve heard, the stock shafts will be: Tensei Blue, a new Tensei White of some sort and a HZRDUS CB shaft which sounds awesome!

Think this could be a move for a lot of people. I know most are in tsi3 driver, but tsi2 fairways and hybrids, I’m the same. Would be keen for a slightly more forgiving  tsi3

More info on the TSR Drivers:

 

Distance gain with the TSR driver is mostly gained through refined aerodynamics of the driver head.  The overall shape has been redesigned with some input from Formula-1 race cars.  If you look at the TSR-2, there is a trailing edge at the back of the driver like a race car.

 

The new driver face has a significantly larger sweet spot than the TSi to help maintain ball speed on less than ideal shots.  The titanium used in the faces of the TSR Drivers come from ATI.  But the exact material is not the same as what was used in the TSi Drivers.

 

I am thinking of going TSR3 with the Oban Airburst 53s Shaft.

If they made big improvements on the forgiveness of the TSR4, I'd happily game that at 8* with a Kai'li white/Ventus black --- talk about what should be a spin killer/fairway finder for me. Plus, the TSR4 driver and the TSR2 fairways blend perfectly in the bag. Now just have to wait a year for the hybrids and hopefully a much better looking/feeling T200's ahhhhhhhh

A Titleist fitter noted that he believes that the TSR3 has a larger sweet spot and is more forgiving than the TSi2.  For example, smash factor on low heel misses are around 1.48 on the TSR2.

 

He (and other master fitters) are now currently fitting Titleist pros in the area.  Fitting for the masses should begin the third week of August.

Info on the TSR Fairway Woods:

 

The main reason that the Active Recoil Channel has been removed in the TSRs is to save weight.  There is a lot of metal in the folds that make up the slot for the Active Recoil Channel, and the weight saved is being used to optimize the weighting and forgiveness, as well as the launch conditions, of the TSR Fairway Woods.  A new face design for the TSR allowed Titleist to retain the ball speeds without the slot.  No specifics on what Titleist has done with the new face design.

Hope you are right on with the timing. Would love to get something scheduled prior to October.

It wouldn't surprise me to see JT gaming the TSR3 this week after a few weeks off, he took ages to get the TSi3 dialled in. Or he may wait till the playoffs are finished.... will be interesting to see. If JT and Cantlay make the switch then we know its a good head 🙂

Or that’s there’s no real difference, and as Titleist staffers they’re encouraged to promote the new product. 🤷‍♂️

I really like the shape of the TSr2 - I opted for the 3 with the TSi series just because of the head shape, but could have used the extra forgiveness of the 2.  The TSr2 shape look a lot like the 905R to me.   I'll order one as soon as they're available.

Same Here!  I have Ventus Blue in my TSI3. The only question is do I pay the upcharge for the DI and have a shaft shootout.

DI and Ventus Blue are probably the two easiest shafts to sell whenever your shootout is complete.

I'm ordering with the AD DI since I don't have a 6S with a Titleist driver tip.  I do have a AD BB - the BB launches a hair lower for me than the DI.  I'll keep the one that works better and sell the other.
