Scheffler looking *very* rusty right now. Obviously he doesn't need to do anything this week (not even make the cut) to advance to the final 30, but he's playing like absolute garbage.

I can't think of a bigger contrast in swings right now on tour than between Matt Fitzpatrick and Scheffler.  Matt's looks like a model of tight efficiency and Scheffler's looks looser than an 80 yr old hooker.  Both get it done though.

It may be "divisive" at best. There seems to be no love for players leaving for the LIV Tour from those remaining. I'm sure some loud THINK OF THE CHILDREN type behavioral harpies will shriek about it though.

LOL.   He didn't walk on his line.  Cam's ball was forward of where Scottie stepped.  And you can see Cam was still standing when Scottie began his walk off the green.  If anything, Cam just squatted down in front of Scottie in his line of movement.  Much ado about nothing.

 

Edit: Actually, on closer inspection, Scottie did choose to change his direction to walk in front of Smith.  Still not sure if it was to be a ****** or if it was because Cam dropped down right in his path, but Scottie could have easily maneuvered around him.

Scottie also gave Cam a high five when Cam holed out earlier from the fairway. I doubt anything was done intentionally on the putting incident.
