What are you buying next season?

Pretty solid chance I'll be adding a TSR2+ next year, but the snow has already fallen here, so there's no rush on that. Wedges are new, I still love the irons and the TSi3 isn't going anywhere.

Maybe a new shaft for my 2-iron, but that's all.

Titleist TSi3 8º - LAGP DJ 65-6
Titleist TSi3 15º - LAGP TourAxs Blue
Mizuno Pro 225 2i - C-TaperL

Mizuno T22  52º, 56º, 60º C-Taper

Scotty Special Select Newport 2
Titleist Left Dash -ProV1x

Going to jump all in to a set of NL 902 OS.  I was going do a demo - but with shipping and US to Canadian dollar exchange - I only want to pay for shipping once !

I tried Takomo 201s this year - beautiful clubs - just maybe a bit small for my index ( 10.3 ).

Hoping the 902 OS will fit the bill.  Any reviews are pretty good.

Hopefully nothing, but my hybrid hasn't been great lately so a good deal on a Callaway UW or Stealth driver could change my mind. Other than that, I'm due for new grips if something comes out that feel better than my cp2's.

As of today...Driver. Ping, Titleist and Cobra on demo list. 3 Wood. Will see what is on offer. Strong hybrid or 5 wood. Ping favourite for the hybrid. Used Callaway leading the running in this section. New summer shoes. FJ or Ecco are favourites. Better golf trousers. More Oscar Jacobson once the sales arrive. New waterproof bag (anything but Ogio as current model is junk).

Going to do an updated fitting for a driver, trying to be open minded but leaning Ping G430 LST site unseen.

Gap wedge has seen several years of good use so most likely swapping this out. Have used mostly Vokeys in the past, so either another voke or maybe looking into the Glide 4.0’s.

New putter is definitely on the horizon. Have gone mostly off feel in the past but gotta break down and do the SAM thing and get some numbers. Have done the clip on monitor thing and have been told I have a consistent stroke but I don’t feel like i’ve been making enough if that is the case. Could be the indian or the arrow, but the arrow is easier to change!!

Lastly, a new carry bag will definitely be holding the sticks next year. Just a matter of finding the right one!

Hope everyone finds what they need for 2023!!

I got all new clubs last fall but I’ll do a fitting again in February and see if anything can be improved upon. Woods, hybrid, and putter are probably safe. Most interested in trying the following:

Driver: TSR2, stealth 2

Irons: i230, mizuno 223, apex pro

Wedges: SM9 with ZNE shafts

What is a "season"?

For those of us unfortunate enough to live north of the Carolina’s (at least on the east coast) we have 2 seasons- Golf Season and Off Season.

For most, Off season starts when the daytime highs get below 45-50, and will last until about 8 weeks after Punxatawny Phil pops his head out.

For a few brave souls, Golf Season will be a year round endevour, sometimes requiring cart covers, heaters, hot hands  and more. Only snowfall and mean course superintendents who don’t want you destroying the course can keep these animals away.

Nice thing about the off season, usually not a lot of competition for tee times when the ground is so frozen you can’t put a tee in!

We are fortunate to play all year here. The main league I play runs March-October. I'm trying to get better about making big equipment/swing changes during the off-season.

I used to live in Illinois though. And full well remember putting the clubs in the basement before Thanksgiving and knowing I wouldn't get them out again until spring. 😞

After my fantastic experience at the PXG fitting center. There is a high chance I'll replace the woods/hybrid in my bag after getting fit. PXG irons couldn't beat my Srixons...that's the only thing I feel confident (for now) will be gamers all of 23.

New wedge set, which is already on the way despite the PNW gloom setting in, and maybe something to slot between fairway and 4i.

Anything for me will likely be just in the world of shafts.  I am thinking of trying to play steel again, in the Nippon universe, either the Modus 120 or Modus 105.  I have a set of clubheads that I've wanted to make use of, Tommy Armour 986 Tours.

I may also pick up a new 56* SW, which will likely be used as the sole wedge in addition to the 986 Tours.

Could also pick up some graphite iron shafts for another of my sets.  I seem to have aged out of my set of Recoil Proto 125s, if I wish to use that set, they'll need a reshaft.

Only real "old" clubs I have is the JPX 900 5w and 818 hybrid, and you'll have to pry those from my cold dead hands. Have had good results turning that 5w down to 16* and dropping the 3w. Want to slot an iron back in there at 18-20*. Shortlist is U500, Xforged UT, ZX or Forged Tec.

Have about 3dz Z-star XV, then will go back to Maxfli Tour X.

Project X LZ in my wedges.

Similar problem here lol, but upper Midwest and only a 60°, and it's arriving on Thursday. So now it's changed to maybe a putting Matt depending on how much space I have and the condition my current one is in. I'm really hoping to not spend much money on golf equipment next year because my phone is getting kinda old and I want to buy it from the manufacturer instead of going through my carrier, and I've gone a little overboard with equipment this year.

Hi toe 3s are interesting me a lot. I love my new levels. Sold my ZX5s after my first range day with them.

I Did exactly the same thing with my ZX5's once my 623-CB set arrived. and I really liked the ZX5 iron too.

For me, i have a G430 MAX driver arriving in a day or two, and that should be it unless i wear my wedges out before the year's up, I've made a bet with my better half....
