He was rolling a TM Mullen putter back in the 2017 PGA he almost won.  Think Scotty has made him 2017 customs since then to keep him in the fold.

This one is brand new. Once Hideki arrived he had three other Cameron’s with him

It astounds me that for one of the worst putters among the top players, he seems to never deviate from this style of putter. Not a big mallet, no armlock, no superstroke grip, no left hand low, no claw grip, nothing!

I can never understand why he plays his putter so upright with the toe off the ground. I get that he might've been inspired by Isao Aoki.

 

But if you take the shaft out of the putter head and balance the head on its CoG with both sole and face, the CoG would be dead on the middle of the face and sole.

 

Yet he chooses to have his lie angle away from the CoG. Isao Aoki's putter was sort of heel shafted so the CoG was closer to the heel than the middle so his toe up lie angle was merely just a way of addressing it on the actual CoG.

LOL I doubt Scotty balances the COG on his putters, most are heel side

Hideki actually received this putter back in 2020 during The Payers Championship. He put it straight into play that week and equalled the course record on day one. Then Covid halted the season and he only used it once more over the following three seasons.
