Last year's Paradym looked quite good from the bottom but I hated the cheap look of the crown...this year it looks like the team who designed the crown from last year have designed the sole (looks a**...cheap/plastic) and the team who designed the sole have designed the rather nice looking crown this year.

 

Maybe next year we will either get a nice looking crown & sole or an a** looking crown & sole together

They (almost) look great from address ... For the love of god, can OEMs stop branding the crowns of their clubs!? This one, with the white lettering, is especially egregious. 

Is Callaway worried that when I'm standing on the tee box I'll forget which club/brand I'm playing?

Everytime i come back and look at it.. i just cant. It looks so bad on the sole. Like someone took turtle wax smeared it and took their finger and went in wierd directions.. it dont look like smoke and they are taking the names a little too litteral now lol. The trip diamond 3 wood is the way the whole lineup should have been designed to look. Clean with some color.

When you play a newer Titleist, everything else is just plain ugly 🤷‍♂️

I don’t see any information or anything on Callaway’s website about the Ai-Smoke adjustable UW?  Is that going to be Tour only or will there be a retail release?  Hoping for an adjustable UW in higher lofts than the 3/15 shown.

Theres only two on the confirming list; 15 and 16.5.

I still have my custom Rogue ST Max LS with a flat, clean crown and monochrome colors. The orange portions are black/silver instead, and I get a lot of compliments on it.

I skipped Paradym because I didn't like the look at address, now I'll probably skip the Ai Smoke because of the look of the sole...

 

I never understood the people who say "Sole doesn't matter, as long as it looks good at address". I'd still have to look at that abomination every single time I pull it out of my bag, and that's a nonstarter. Then there's the naming issue... Cigarettes killed my Gramps, and when I was growing up I'd puke every time I got a whiff of tobacco.

 

50% of golf is between the ears. You have to like your equipment to be able to play well with it, and some of us are more of a basket case than others. I've been flip flopping ever since the first leaks popped up, but I think I'm going to enter the "Bag is Set" challenge with what I've got going on now.

Any info on the weight of the slider and button weight on the max model?

 

 Excited to see that the slider weight is visually exact to the epic max ls head from prior. You can really make it a low spin monster max head with little or no weight in the slider and pack more weight in the front.

The jailbreak is gone as well, lots of reviews are stating that the feel and forgiveness is that much better on missed hits, is it because the jailbreak is gone?, interesting, looking forward to my fitting at the end of the month (it is for the irons only), if the driver is there I'll give it a swing, I don't have any issues with my current TD, I am honestly not looking to replace my current driver, again, unless the performance is that much better, I normally look for forgiveness and dispersion (side to side and front to back), if the performance is better I will give it a thought (probably won't get it though)...
