Also I doubt a fitter is going to try to give advice to a tour pro when the pro has a much more informed coaching team.

Generally with an expert fitter it's a balance between the two. Even if it's just fundamentals. Trottie did a video with Matt Fryer a few weeks back, and a lot of it was alignment and ball position.

Sunday fit leaves a lot to be desired, that shirt is boxy and too big, and those pants aren’t the right size for him. The color way is fine, but the fit is way off, IMO.

I’m not tight with the Malbon guy at all, but I have played some golf with him. I assure you, he’s not a complete jerk and not even close. He’s got a good sense of humor and was a pleasure with whom to play golf. There’s certainly some SoCal in his personality that can rub people the wrong way, but he’s a genuinely nice fellow and really believes in his brand. Easy guy to root for.

Can you ask him to get JD in for a fitting? I feel sorry for the guy. He’s always dressed so well. I’m afraid he may eat himself into the clothes they have him in. Gaining 60 lbs won’t be good for his back or game.

when I first saw JDAY and his new outfits my first impression was that he had lost a ton of weight, I then realized that it was because of how ill-fitting the clothes were that made him look thin.

I personally loved the style of his outfits this weekend. Golf doesn't have to be all pressed collars and tight fitting jogger pants. Maybe it's part of me who grew up as half golfer half skateboard kid, but I think this blend of style works for me. End of the day malbon doesn't need to take the people who are buying lululemon etc for their golf attire, if they can just get 10% of golfers to check out their gear they win. They're also a lot bigger in the Asian market currently, which is massive for golf attire.
