Pulled the trigger through Mortons. New Ping Classic Anser, 340 grams, blackout grip - I think I'm in love :smiley:

How did you get the Anser at 340g without tungsten weights? I'd pull the trigger now.

Actually I just asked at Morton’s what the weight was, saying I wanted 340. And emailed Ping at the same time. Both came back with the same answer that the average was 341g. So I put in the order

Took a couple extra weeks but it came it with the note from WRX for a 340g head! Score ??

I sent my Portland I got from CPO to my guy, put in a black TT step less shaft and traxion pistol 1.0, 40g sole plate, weighed in at 381. This is my first milled putter, loving the feel.

I have been gaming a custom v line fang, o- works, 385g, custom slant neck the guys at Odyssey did for me, will be tough to move from the bag, will get a chance to roll the Portland on course tomorrow.

No CB, Winn pistol mid on gamer, traxion 1.0 pistol on Portland, just like a heavy head, feels much more stable

Been a blade guy all my life, but my putting has been in the toilet all season. I'd rolled it a few times before and thought it felt nice, but I was on fire indoors yesterday so I dropped $90 on the Tommy Armour Impact #3. The snow's not letting me try it out on course, but I like it so far, and I never thought I'd like a mallet. I wanted to do a Spider Tour, but I made a few more from the same distances with the TA, and it cost half as much as a beat up used one.

1995-1997 Classic Newport

Last week I just grabbed a 2004 Studio Stainless Newport Beach, almost brand new. The putting feel is amazing, soft but solid, compares to my 2005 Studio Style (GSS insert) Newport2 and 2007 Teryllium T10 Newport 2.5.

Cleveland Huntington Beach 4. I am familiar with older carbon Camerons (and a Button Back) and own 3 Xenon's, all one piece (1 stainless and 2 carbon) sticks. Noticed the Cleveland putter a few months back and got curious about it. Mainly because, well, all of it. The HB4 is the run o' the mill Newport style, plain Jane 1 piece construction. Deep mill 304 Stainless for less than $100 is crazy. So far I only rolled it in the house. It measures in line with another 350g stick I have for overall weight. That heavy grip will get changed out before taking it out for a round. At 85 grams it takes too much away from the head.

I'll add, cast head and milled face for sure.

When you say 1-piece, what do you mean? 1-piece like Bettinardi where the whole head is milled from a single billet, neck included (not welded)? That’s impressive if the Cleveland is.

I just got back my Bettinardi Studio Stock 8 after having it reshafted with a matte black CT Tour shaft. I had asked for a Rosemark 1.52 grip and was surprised to see that the grip I got was the new for 2020 "Rosemark Tour" version. I didn't even think these were available yet. They're not on their website, at least.

Nothing fancy compared to some others posted in here, but I picked up a Ping Sigma 2 Arna earlier today. Not a huge fan of the oversized grips so there's a pretty decent chance the stock PP60 grip will get swapped out for a Pure.

The Arna is a really nice putter looks wise, I'm not a fan of the insert but will see what Ping comes out with for their new line and if they have the Arna. An Arna Vault putter would be real nice.
