Has anyone ordered one of these with the Tensei Orange from Golfio.com? I am curious if you received the pro version? The description at the bottom indicates pro but the drop down doesn't say.

So if for some people the standard g400 is "anti left", and for some it is "hook happy". Can we maybe determine that this might have to do with the golf swing?

You mean you actually have more to do with it than the head, shaft or ball.... you mean you basically get out of a swing what you put into it?

That's the most absurd thing I have ever heard.

Pretty sure you aren’t going to get a $350 shaft for only a $150 upcharge.

Mizuno manages to do it for free..... Ping frustrates me on shafts

That’s exactly why I asked. I may call them them today to clarify.

Please call, but when I had the Tensei blue installed in my FW wood, it was non pro for the upcharge.

Swing speed alone does not dictate regular vs LST. Tony Finau is playing the G400 max which is not a low spin head. Best thing is to go hit them and see which one is a better fit for you

Definitely this. If I were to venture a guess, a fair number of those who are buying the LST untested would end up with a different head if they were properly fitted.

Agreed. I went to a fitting expecting to come home w/an 8.5' LST and, instead, ended up with the standard G400 (9'). I do wonder, however, if the 10.5' LST head would have been a good fit as well? I'll have to try one out sometime (not that I'm unhappy w/my standard G400).

I actually turned the LST over more than the STD.

I'm not suprised, I've heard this same thing from several golfers I know who thought the LST was going in their bag and ended up with either the SFT or STD heads instead.

I haven't tried the standard but I currently have the lefts with my LST. It is considerably easier to turn over than the G30 or G LST and I mean by a large margin. I am not sure why either. Maybe its the head size. Hoping today's round will give me back that drop fade I want to play.

Hate to hear this. Anyone else experience the same?

Opposite for me although different shafts as well. I play a big draw and I’ve never hit a straighter driver.

I was battling the rights with this but I'm only 3 rounds in. Ive hit so many pull hooks with other drivers its altered my set up and swing. I adjusted very well the last round and hit 9 fairways, which is great for me. I have the LST. I feel like its been hard to hit left. Mainly strait or a fade. And now that Im aiming better and am getting over the fear of hitting left, Im starting to like it. I was fit for it. It feels pretty good but hasn't really blown me away distance wise. but it has been very wet and I'm getting good carry out of it. I think it is more spinny on low strikes than the 16 m2 i was playing before

Even the G400 is pretty neutral. For me, it was a spin thing between the two. Good luck with it.

I tested this against all the new drivers and my G30. Numbers were as good as anything else out there. The G400 has incredible feel. Ping no longer is just forgiving. The G400 is long and forgiving. Props to Ping.
