Any new TM drivers in the works?

Recommended Posts

It'd be pretty wild if the weight tracks were the actual slopes on the edges of the "V". That way the low and forward setting would be out at the perimeter and the high and back setting would be concentrated in the center. Swap the weights between tracks for fade/draw biasing, and the non-adjustable model would just have one big back weight like the M6.

From what I have heard, they are offering/bringing back the 2017 M2 line for a price point driver. It is the same driver with no changes from what I was told. It was relatively popular. Most can't afford to pay $400 to $550 for a new "state of the art" driver with all the bells and whistles.

I have no idea if there is any customization available, or they will just be stock offered, at least for shafts. I think it is a good idea, from a retail standpoint.

Keep it up, TM! Stay the course; you guys are killing it!

Sentry is a perfect place to debut them - you can hit BOMBS on that track. I hit a ball 373 on 18 (TM driver I might add) because it's about 100 yards downhill! CANNOT wait to see this guy....sounds visually stunning and I'm huge about look at address!

Hey??? TM is going leaps and bounds ahead. Blades may not be keeping anyone afloat but not everyone has TW blades, Their iron selection is incredible even venturing into the more refined side with the P790ti. They have one of the most successful driving iron on the market. Their woods are used by most who don't have club deals so that says volumes alone. The new wedges are selling like hot cakes, The ball share is growing weekly and their putter line has always been strong and with the new spider X again it has trumped a lot of its competition. They added the customization to the putters also which drew a lot more business.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say they are doing great and are one of the few actually growing as a business across the whole sector.

If they've improved on the M5 then they'll have something special. That driver is just absolutely fabulous from a control and consistent speed on off center strikes. Played today and missed 2 fairways. Those 2 misses were a total of about 7 feet off the fairway. The ball just doesn't curve with this driver.

I was doing a shaft head to head on every hole. 125msi rogue vs 661 speeder evo2. On 18 I hit 3 balls with each shaft. The 3 with the speeder were within a yard of each other distance-wise and within 5 yards of each other altogether.

Only thing that stays in the back of my head about the m5 was that it was slower than m4 and ts3.

Lol, it's all good. I'm a scratch golfer (+.5 to be exact). I hit 11/14 fairways last time out. If someone doesn't believe me then they're welcome to come play...

M5 is my first adjustable weight driver. Now that I have a better understanding of gear effect (thanks @Howard Jones ) I really believe in being able to move CoG around to help with shot shape. The best thing about the m5 is that it's setup to produce the peel off fade I prefer but it's really easy to draw it too.

As I type I'm feeling that it'd be foolish to let go of this driver.
