The face must be smaller to reduce the air impact and they likely rounded the face edges in order to do that.

Seems the face is shallower. Whatever that means for off center strikes, I don't know...here sim compared to f9 and m6.

Those pictures all look like different sizes, so it's pretty hard to compare. The SIM looks to have maybe the weight port further back compared to M6 or the crown itself is a little shorter from front to back and perhaps also less rounded.

What you can see from the pictures is that the slope from the high point of the crown to the back edge is less on sim than the other 2. The SIM had a flatter crown, especially compared to m5 and m6

TM specifically writes about "breakthrough face technology" that increases speed......sounds like the "SHAPE" (ah...SHAPE IN MOTION...SIM) of the face has changed that will allow that to happen not just height.

Every year it's lower spinning, faster ball speeds, more forgiving, higher launching, and most importantly longer - from all oems.

Played yesterday with someone who had it in his bag. He was fit and had to loft up to get the right spin, but was driving it well and it was surprising the amount of roll on mushy fairways.

I am a TM fan but these look bad from the bottom. Address visual could be different but that weight port looks huge. These have jetspeed vibes.

What looks to be the "tour" version of the fairway with the weight on the bottom. Looks to my eye the exact same as the old Adams XTD ti fairway. Which was a rocket launcher. But still, looks more like TM repackaging a design they got from the Adams purchase.

I like Taylormade though, hope these are great clubs.

Hit everything yesterday. M6 fairway blow SIM out of the water. It will be a while before anything beats the M6. My M5 numbers beat the sim in every way. Tested multiple lofts and shaft combos to attempt to even get close to my current M5 ball speed numbers and SIM was 3 mph slower. This is one of those times that a OEM has released a inferior product to what they have in play right now. I’m guessing we will not see many players on your making this switch.
