I'm sure I'm in the minority, but im not looking forward to this weekend or the season in general. If this weekend's coverage is any indication, the only player we'll see play is Tiger and maybe the players in his group.

Yes he's great, probably the GOAT, but my god do the announcers have to drool over him and act like he's the only one on the course?? They would rather show him walking up the fairway than show other players actually hitting shots.

He may be the needle, but the networks are doing a great disservice to all the talent on tour.

The way things are shaping up, the only tournaments I'll watch are the ones where Tiger isn't playing.

Been like that for 20 years so it's nothing new. People want to see Tiger play, especially when he’s in contention because the ratings boom. They did miss showing Rahm’s eagle which is unfortunate.

Uh....anyway, TW makin a nice move today and I’m sure the network wants play it up and everyone to know coming into Sunday. I think they will be more balanced showing the leaders tmrw. But, yes, sometimes it seems like they showin TW walking rather than JB actually playing. I imagine they have done some testing on what brings in/maintains ratings. They love showing Rory too.

He said there are signs around La Jolla for a Joe LaCava running for city council as a Democrat.

Then he essentially said Joe LaCava the caddie is not a La Jolla Democrat.

It was just an inside joke about the caddie and an objective observation.

It wasn't a knock on either person.

Is it just my particular area but I'm watching CBS right now and every time a tee shot or iron shot reaches apex, the feed blacks out until just after the ball lands. Doesn't happen for any putts, chips though...

if you’ve watched it

most of the back 9 showing of tiger has been taped replay. It’s easy to spot it. When it’s 15 minutes between a par putt and a tee shot. You know it’s a replay. They’ve shown as much JB as time allows and all of Palmer. And a of Rory. Who else is tearing it up ? But tigers done now. Time to go to dinner. Lol

I love the way the course is playing. the cold weather is refreshing as well. watching all these monster hitters with 220 into par 4s after pounding their drives is a real test. the rough is very penal
