As a west Tennesseean, Southwind is a great course but with the covid and no spectators this would have been the perfect opportunity to play at Spring Creek Ranch. I’ve always heard they don’t play there bc not enough room to host a PGA tournament.

Rules official Ken Tackett currently has Bryson +7 on the two holes he has adjudicated on in the last few tourneys. Probably not getting a Christmas Card from Peabo Bryson. Hopefully Tackett will release a best seller entitled "Fences and Fire Ants - one official to rule them all"

BDC is making it hard to like him. I’ve liked him so far, I find his experiments interesting. But this ongoing rules relief and whining is getting old. He pointed out a single ant like 6 feet away from his ball. “ See! There’s one over there.”, as he pointed toward it. It was literally 6 feet away from him. Getting ridiculous.

I disagree. TPC Southwind is a great course. The players love it, and it is very demanding. Tests all aspects of your game.

I live in Florida, land of the fire ants. If their were any fire ants near his ball, he would not have been standing there for minutes waiting for the marshall. Fire ant bites are almost as painful as bee stings. . He made a fool out of himself...

Hmmm, I went and did a search and found a pretty lengthy thread about it from earlier February. Seems he tested it then, kept it, we all got locked down for The-Virus-We-Shall-Not-Name, and he kept it after the break. Great info, thanks for the heads up!
