G425 delivery times

Makes sense, my local Dicks doesn't have a single item from the g425 in stock, and our other local shop only has demos and 3-4 drivers, so you have to place an order no matter what you want.   Dicks did have a leftover 410 6H that I wanted, but still wanted full original sticker price and it was a senior shaft.

That is nuts.  Over 3 months for Ping G irons with Modus Tour 105 shafts.  Not calling your order vanilla, but that is pretty darn basic.  I think my order for G425 irons with Steelfibers went in mid-May, not a cheap order, and I'll probably have gone through most of my season here in NJ by the time I receive the irons.  Crazy stuff.

Our local Golf Galaxy has an abundance of G425 drivers/woods/hybrids, but all of them have stock Ping shafts, no premium offerings (ie Tensei).

 

I think the hold up really is the premium shafts....

When I tried to order a g425 driver with Tensei orange 50R , discount Dan’s wouldn’t even take my order. This was probably back in March or so. Said that shaft is like finding Bigfoot

Update to my previous post. Irons arrived today sans 7 iron, 2 months and 2 days from when I ordered it. 
 

Hope the 7 iron isn’t delayed much longer.

Tensi shafts I was told we're coming in to the shop mid June. Then they have to go through quality check and hopefully get mine by July. Fingers crossed 🤞

I don't think just a custom problem.  My buddy finally got his G425 irons with the stock Alta senior flex shafts after an 83 day wait.  EIGHTY THREE DAYS...

 

My local Golf Galaxy also has plenty of G425 drivers with stock shafts, but not much else.  One set of G425 irons on the wall; no Blueprints, no G710's, nothing.

Ordered a G425 5 wood and it is guaranteed to arrive before Father's Day or it's free. Wish I had the same deal on the irons.

Cracked head after about a month of use. Sucks. Now probably going to take forever to get another head from Ping.

Yeah. Sucks. My driver swing speed maxes at 100 but i guess it could happen to anyone.

Placed an order for 425 Max 9* driver with Tour 65 shaft end April thru Golf Discount, was told back order was for 3 to 5 weeks (back then), it’s now 8 weeks and GD claims they got in touch with PING (recently) & estimated ship date would be June 19….. Lets see what happens………

Chatted with Dicks and was told Ping has started my assembly, and they will expedite the shipping as soon as possible. I hope this happens as I have heard this before from them!

If it's any consolation, my buddy ordered a 425 LST with the Tour 65 in late April and he got his last week.

It was within a couple of days, but wedges were supposed to be right behind and no word on them.

Thanks for the heads up, I still have my reservations if PING can meet the June 19 ship date. As someone here has described himself being strung along ~ I share his PAIN…… It ain’t over till the tall brown box arrives at my door step……

Was just notified that my driver has shipped.  I have the 12* head with Tensei orange 55R shaft, ordered April 23-ish, that will be right about 8 weeks.  But still no word on the Glide 3.0 54 and 58 wedges ordered at the same time.

I think you are quoting me on this one and the pain is still real. Currently at 12 weeks since order date (March 23). Reached out to the retailer on Monday but have not received an update yet. (LH LST 9* with Tour65 X - stock arccos grip)

I ordered through Dicks and made sure they had it in stock. Dicks pulled another one as usual. They hinted the order on the irons was about to be assembled on there chat line, and as usual they were wrong. Today I get an email and the date is pushed back even further to 15 July. I ordered 22 April.

Finally closing the loop on my April 10 G425 iron order (AWT S, Ping cord grips, orange dot) they should arrive Monday the 21st. Yikes.

I was told by PING that April orders for 425 irons are shipping in June and May orders will ship in July.

 

My May 7 order for 5 wood and hybrids will arrive six weeks after order.

 

Be sure that your non-stock grip is not holding up your order.
