Depends on the day for me but as few as 2 and as many as 5.  I tend to swap driver and fairway woods quite often.

Same.  I at times say I'm going to "switch it up" and yet somehow come down to 1 or 2 brands in my bag.  Usually Titleist or a mix of Titleist and Mizuno, but recently somehow TM took over my bag.  It happens, it's how I'm wired, I don't fight it anymore.  I could also see myself very easily going all Ping and not blinking.  

 

It seems as when I was "growing up" in the game in the late 90s, early 2000s; manufacturers had very pronounced niches.  Callaway/TM woods, Adams hybrids, Mizuno/Ping irons, Vokey/Cleveland wedges, Ping/Scotty/Odyssey putters.  Titleist was all elite player clubs, Callaway was GI focused, TM launched 3 drivers a summer, Ping used to be ugly (not anymore!), etc, etc.  But today, many OEMs make fantastic products up and down the lineup.  It's easier now more than ever to gravitate to one brand, and not give up performance.
