NBC really spread thin today with some of their crew at Augusta for the ladies amateur and John Wood apparently taking the weekend off. So we are left with Begay as the only on course reporter, which he is not good at. I really think NBC should promote Jerry Foltz to the Tour team and send Begay down to the Golf Channel crew.

While I don’t disagree I think Foltz prefers being on LPGA coverage because he and his lady (Karen Stupples) drive to events together.

His last two Sunday rounds as the leader were quite disappointing.  This time he really has only Wallace to worry about, sort of matchplay situation.  Wouldn't mind Hoffman spoiling their party though.

Hoffman might look at Spieth or Wallace winning as spoiling his party.  His record at this event is impressive.  I'm pulling for Jordan, but if the wind is up I'd put my money on Hoffman.  Having said that, Wallace will win.  And @iBanesto and @elwhippy, you're both right.  Wallace has a lot of talent and a high ceiling, and he does a lot of self abuse which is OK I guess if you can take it - he's not the only one (Tyrell Hatton anyone?).  But its his abuse of others (namely caddies) that I think some find off putting about him.  Haven't heard of any recent incidents so I hope he has put that behind him.

Lots of wind out there yesterday. Greens were soft IMO.

 

Ricky Fowler is playing really good golf the last two days and I also like Trainer to move up the board. I would not be supervised to see Woodland make a run today.

Wallace, Spieth or Hoffman everyone else is to far back. Tringale is 4 back and has never won, unless you count the shootout. Spieth has to love this he should really put this away

Yeah I was driving back from Dallas yesterday for most of his round and PGA Tour radio did a good job capturing the frustration of his first 8 holes.  Didn't get to see any of it but feels crazy he dug a -5 round out of it.

Love that Hoffman Spieth and Wallace are same group.  I think Hoffman playing in a different group would make it less pressure.  Thus easier.  Same for spieth and Wallace.  This way nobody gets to coast.
