Kind of an odd ball question...

I’m in search for a nice premium cushioned no show sock. White and black. Only thing is i don’t want any branding above the shoe line! I wear UA, Nike, and Jordan golf shoes and maybe it’s just me but mixing shoe/sock brands bother me... ha!  Don’t really want to buy and keep track of 2/3 different brand socks. Anyone have a nice go to sock that fits the bill?

I've bought lots of socks specifically for golf over the years.  My two favorite brands are Darn Tough and Balega.  Each brand has several product lines with low/medium/high levels of cushioning/thicknesses and various content material (wool, coolmax, etc) for different temps and conditions.

The Balega Hidden Comfort and Ultralight no-shows don't have any visible logos or wording above ankle line.  The Darn Tough Vertex and Coolmax no-shows have just the stenciled mountain logo on the heel tab, but it's not very noticeable depending on the color you choose.

 

I have a few SmartWools and Kentwools no-shows, but not in front of me right now.  I can't remember if they had any visible logo/stitching above the ankle line, but they performed very well for golf.

The Bombas performance golf ankle socks are really good.  Nice cushioning with a heel tab and no visible logos.

Another vote for Balega hidden comfort...personally I slightly prefer the hidden contour since it is ever so slightly less bulky.

Also a huge fan of Kentwool KW light.

Have several pairs of Stance, and although good, I just don’t see what the hype is about.

Any hiking company socks are great. Balega, Darn tough, Smartwool, Swiftwick, all are great. Try a couple pairs from each. Less washing

+1 on Stance. I like their tab socks for golf and running. Can be purchased in different thicknesses depending on which shoes you want to wear that day.

I'll throw in another vote for Stance.  Sometimes you can run into them at Ross for cheaper than MSRP.  I bought a couple of pairs of the golf tab socks for $3.99 each.

Darn Tough...have not found anything better.  Incredibly durable.  I wear them exclusively for daily, dress, gym, golf.  Have a few pairs that are 1.5 years old - no piling, wear spots, stretching...they are like brand new.  One of my Kentwools fell apart after 8 months, the other is visibly worn after 1.5 years.
