I got taken!! 

 I made a mistake trading with Pingman2019--he got my ventus shaft and nothing from him for 27 days ago.

   Unfortunately I did not know about this page and looked at his reputation score, it said "33"  and I thought "ok," but I failed to  click on the feedback where it said he had 4 negatives.

Sorry for the loss of your shaft. I have no idea why this person hasn't been permanently banned. However it does say in his profile BST revoked and as you stated had 4 negatives. But I think golfwrx needs to get rid of these people and not let them take advantage of someone else.

“Reputation Score?”  Not even sure what that is?  ALWAYS look at feedback.  Only 4 feedbacks and All NEGATIVE!  He can’t post in BST but nothing stopping him from responding to WTB ads or people looking for trades in for sale ads.  Not real sure why this guy is still a member, but then again if he’s banned there is nothing stopping him from just opening a fresh account and starting all over again with a clean slate.

Reputation scores have nothing to do with selling. My reputation score is 291 and I have never sold anything or bought anything in the BST.

I'm not sure why some get confused with the reputation score, the Feedback rating is right there in a box under all out user profile

As others have already stated... The "reputation" score is based solely on how many reactions (likes, thanks, confused, haha, and sad) you've received to posts. It has absolutely nothing to do with BST feedback.

 

I'm not really sure why we even have a reputation score. To me it seems like all it does in confuse people...

Interesting that this guy has flat out stolen from members and hasn't been perma-banned.

 

Meanwhile, I've done hundreds of deals on the BST, have BST Feedback >200 for over a decade...and I get Banned for a week for asking a guy if the belts he was selling in the BST as Brand New were really Brand New.

 

Here's the best part...each belt had visible leather mark wear where each buckle met the leather.  He changed the Ad.  I was still Banned.

 

Seems legit.

Well my mistake was, all the trades with members here have gone great--so it's the members' faults--they led me down this path thru their goodness😇....I was packing for a trip, I just glanced at the reputation score and it said "33" which is pretty good, so I stopped there.   I saw he was a member for 3 years...Also, I had a conversation with him over a period of a few months. Seemed like a decent guy--and said he just had a new baby. I was lulled into complacency.. I think he should be banned--and his reputation score reduced to "0". Live and learn...

   Obviously, now that  I saw the "banned from BST" staring me in the face, and realized my responsibility of due diligence, it won't happen again.

Likely because they hover over the name - which does NOT give a feeback score...but reputation is prominently displayed:

 

A programming change to display Feedback/Positive/Negative instead of Posts/Rep/Badges would be pretty simple.

 

***Good grief - even I ignored the green box beneath member names on posts.  It even changes color - Green is good, Red is bad.

Dang that stinks, I agree that feedback needs to be more prominently displayed and it is easy to assume that reputation score is similar to feedback. I’ve been here since 2012 and it confused me at first too. What address did you ship to? Maybe someone close can knock on a door for you…

You don't need to be in your account. When you post in a forum to the left of your message is your username, forum ranking(Advnaced, etc), number of posts a nd a big green box that shows yuour's(or any posters) Feedback.

It was an Ontario address and he emailed me a label as part of the deal....

I agree, I know in the past they’ve kept members like this active for a bit so scammed buyers or traders had a way of communicating, but this has been going on for months. Would love to hear the reasoning behind this from the mods and or GX.

Member was banned last Saturday. 
 

Group was previously bst revoked but in ban status as shown below.
 

Basically just a bunch of the usual members taking pot shots at mods and owners again and saying how bad the BST is…
