In your opinion, who has the best swing on tour (any tour - PGA, LPGA, KFT, etc)?

Plus his putting rarely matches his ball-striking. anyway.

Adam Scott swing is overrated if you look at it DTL. His ugly knock knees and arms at his finish shows his swing is heavily overrated imo.

Compare Adam Scots finish to say someone like Montys and its night and day. Scott looks like some hacker lol

Adams is all like the 90's fundamentals, he does get pretty external with his right arm at the top (classic holding tray position) and that can be an uncomfortable static position for some.

The guys who say that Adam Scott's swing doesn't produce results - I would like some of what you're smoking. Since 2005, this is where he has ranked on the PGA Tour in strokes gained tee to green:

12th
2nd
10th
5th
88th
1st
20th
7th
5th
6th
37th
1st
16th
16th
4th
34th

13/16 years he has been in the top 20 tee to green and only once out of the top 40.  9/16 years he has been in the top 10 on tour and twice he has led the category. He is an ELITE ball striker.

Where is an easy link to all these rankings?

But the finest swing ever was and is Sam Snead. No one can compare.  If Sam's putting was as good as his swing was for his entire career, he would have won 5 US Opens easy.

Took the words right out of my mouth.

I'll add Mickey Wright right behind him though. Her swing was technically flawless but even by her own admission it was a bit on the manufactured side.

My favorite current day swing is Hannah Green's. Can't beat the simplicity and efficiency.

You go to the player's profile on pgatour.com and then change the season in the drop down.

Perhaps there is an easier way to see those stats somewhere. It would be nice to see them in a table where season is a column so you can see a certain player's stats over time all at once.

I think the best all-time swing was Micky Wright’s. Technically so sound, and the results back it up.

So many pros changed swings across their careers. Tiger 2019 is imo the best of his swings (that will catch some flak). Chubby Duval. Kaymer before he thought a fade was the answer. Results over aesthetics.

I don’t remember seeing Lorena Ochoa. Incredible swing, incredible talent.

For Kaymer, you mean before he thought a draw was the answer.

Maybe so. It was so long ago. When he first came out, set the European tour in fire, and went to #1 in the world. Then he decided he needed to tweak things to be more versatile.

Hogan called Wright's swing the best he ever saw and Wright said "you can never be too flat" in the swing 🙂

David duval shut the clubface alot...

On purpose - strong grip, closed club face... used his body rotation to square the club up.

Duval was my favorite player growing up.  During this time period, everyone liked to say Steve Elkington had the best swing in golf - sort of like everyone with Adam Scott now.

I've always loved Sergio's lag/hand action.  I think its beautiful in its own way.   Ernie's tempo is amazing.

Currently - I like JT's swing the most, I like how vertical he is and how he gets through the ball... but I think the most aesthetically pleasing to watch is Rory's.

Anyone not voting for Louis Oosthuizen is insane.  It's effortless power and he should probably have about 5x as many wins as he does with the way he strikes the ball, looks like the putter is cooperating this week and he could be very hard to beat.

You cannot deny the swing, his drive to be great might not always appear to be there, but the swing is top 5 all time for sure.
