Not a big Scotty fan, but the original TeI3 putters had the best feel of any putters he made. If they weren’t so busy I’d be interested.

To the people complaining at the $600 pricepoint. These are sold out everywhere already and will be resold for well over $1000 and $1500 in 2022.

I’m still trying to find a lefty one. My shop hasn’t gotten back to me. I wish I could get two so one would be free almost haha

You gotta get lucky, My club Champion is getting 20 total & they are all already sold.  I was told the GG is NOT taking preorders at all at any store (It was a corp bulletin).  A good fiend in Aus called his local store & they told him they are only getting in 2 of each model/Length.

I am all over these.  Yeah it’s $600. BUT, you buy a $600 driver it’s worth $300 in less than a year. You buy a $600 Scotty and it’s worth more in a few years.

If they decreased the font size they could fit at least four more lines of text on the putter.  Maybe write, “forged” and “ tungsten” on it as well.  They could then add an American Flag somewhere and then write “Scotty’s Speed Shop” it.  Possibly make a headcover that’s a slightly lighter color of blue as well that will sell out in 5 minutes and go for 500 on eBay.  Seriously, the designer of that putter has never heard of the word “restraint”.

I am going to get one and totally destroy the value by cutting off the stupid Scotty grip and putting something good on its then pull the shaft and install either a KBS one step or maybe a Fujikura putter shaft in it..

OK now I realize that people are snatching them up and putting them on the secondary market, I'll have to put a little more effort into getting one.  I'm not going to get gouged though.  I will check a few places.  If it doesn't happen, then I won't get worked up about it.   I like my studio select just fine.

 

I would be buying it to game it.  Not to collect it.
