PGA driver stats improved 35 yards with big Ti, use driver 12x that's 420 yards. ANGC did not over lengthen.

Tiger averaged 315 to 335 w/ King Cobra , steel on steel. Incredible physical performance, in 2019 after 5 back surgeries a fused spine, being 24 years older, what do you expect, exactly? This comparison is meaningless.

^^^ He didn't squat like that reading putts at the Masters. Sometimes he only got halfway down.  Looked like a typical am at a local muni.  If that's going to be the norm, his putting will suffer terribly.

As he continues to build strength in his leg, he should be able to get down and read his putts.

That's what I was thinking.  Just gotta wonder how after having a very specific putting routine for over thirty years and then to not be able to do it the same impacts such a finely tuned Ferrari like Tiger.

I think he's only going to play this pro-am and the majors+Hero/PNC this year. Maybe throw in Memorial but that's it.  All together that's 8 tournaments and exhibitions he'll tee it up in this year. Going forward I think he's only gonna play the majors, Genesis/Hero, maybe Bayhill/Memorial and an exhibition here or there.

Honestly I think he's done with the US Open if his exemption runs out in 2024. No way he asks for a special exemption every year or go through the 36-hole qualifying.

I don't for one second think that he will, but in the alternate universe where he does, I'm going to go ahead and guess that the tour is a little less lawyery in their response than they were to Martin...

As regards the US Open…he will never have to go to qualifying.  They will give him special exemptions for as long as he wants.  And won’t have to ask for it.

Check out this article. Honestly I think Augusta was gonna get ripped up eventually with it being so short back in the 1990s. Was actually the shortest major championship course in 1997. We've come a long way since then. It's gonna be kinda sad when Augusta hits 7600-7700 yards which will happened eventually. I think they'll lengthen 13 eventually

I'd be curious to see what this table would look like under the current ranking system. They've changed it quite a bit in the last 20 years. I have no doubt Tiger would have still been about 2.5 times second place, but I don't know how it would compare with Scheffler's current ranking points.
