Quigley isn't a troll I can assure  you of that.  That said I don't agree with his assessment that Brooks drove it better than Bryson.  Bryson put himself in position A quite a bit off the tee in that match and proceeded to do absolutely nothing with it.  

Brooks was spraying the ball all over the yard but on a course where he could get away with it but his iron and wedge game were on point and he was getting closer birdie looks and converting.  Bryson is innovating and pushing boundaries.  Changing the game?  Remains to be seen but its interesting to watch.  And he did get beat.

Kind of off topic. But seeing Bryson hit 205 mph ball speed during the match with a 47.75” diver, swinging as hard as he can, makes this even more impressive to me…

All the while using a Ping driver😝. G425 was quite a bit slower than other competitors for me this year.

Tony is a freak athlete. Played with him several times when he was younger and he’s always had effortless power.

I guess it depends on the store and area.  I remember last year I was getting fit for new irons around the time the srixons were just being released.  The fitter mentioned they had a bunch of people come in and preorder the ZX7's sight unseen before they even had demo sets.

Dude hit fairway after fairway Friday and today. Thursday he had a couple arrant ones but that happens.

Seems like he’s gotten 180 ball speed without any effort and playing a baby draw now.

I know there's a debate re. whether his head is tour-only or retail, but I did find the retail version quite draw biased in my fitting.

Highly unlikely, fitters in Australia often don’t have all the stock options let alone tour models.

I substitute a ZX5 in and out. With the GD AD DI it is the longest driver i ever used but cannot hit a cut. I swap with Ping G425 that is shorter but more accurate and workable.

I got the highest ball and club speeds I’ve had at a fitting with the ZX5 and without trying to kill the ball. The Ventus Black tamed the lefts a lot and I hit a consistent slight draw with it, even when I clanked one right off the toe.

Same for me as well. Srixon doesn't get near enough love as they should. Especially their drivers and woods.
