Wow. Nasa going crazy today, too. Sunday is going to be a real shootout. Five tied at the top for the moment. Another four way playoff would be nuts!

Touche!   🤣    But, surely an "A" for effort?

I taught as an adjunct professor for 20 years. I remember a student who got a low grade on an assignment, and pleaded with me, "Don't I get an 'A' for effort?" I said, "Effort and results are two different things." 🙃

It's only fitting that Jin Young and Nelly are tied for the lead going to the final round of the final tournament of the year.  Neither is guaranteed to win tomorrow, but it sure was quite a season for both.

The future looks bright for LPGA, three American Companies, Cognizant, Kroger and Chevron, have signed on as new sponsors this year.  New ones will continue to sign on throughout 2022 and beyond.

LPGA should breakthrough $100 million total purse in a year or two.  Surely, sky is the limit!

On Sat...on #12...Nelly was in the pine needles and accidently touched her ball with her wedge and cause it to move...it did not oscillate....it was moved.

Why was she not penalized?

Look at the above rules video.

Possibly a large oscillation, near the limit of how far a ball can oscillate without moving. But to me it looks like it moved but returned to or very near its original spot.

Let's nor forget that there are 12 players within 3 strokes of the lead.

This could be an outstanding final round with the 2 season favourites plus plenty of other top players with a chance.

Bring it on, great way to finish the season!

Who you got tomorrow?

Saturday was my day off. Spent it playing pickleball followed by OHIO State game then watching LPGA on TV. Today (Sunday), my tee time is 9:06a which doesn't exist!! Thinking I'm gonna have Patty T., Yu Liu, and Hsu. Or the group before them. 🤷‍♀️ Time for spectating after that!

A quick comment on chairperson Mollie.

Saw her interview on yesterday's stream and I thought she was very good.

Sure, it was a brief cameo but nonetheless, she was warm, considered, clear and spoke well. Projected as authentic, lots of eye contact. She was likeable, even with some charisma. I guess you would hope that for such an important appointment.

Feedback is +ve from the players from what I have gleaned.

I don't shrink from my (and others on here's) comments about her being slow out of the blocks with public engagement and no doubt she has inherited some good stuff to her advantage but putting that aside, this is good for everyone to see and acknowledge:

No wonder the players seem happy at this stage.

Time will tell re her success, but this last event and the above info sees this season ending on a +ve note.

Looking forward to today's final round.

Surprised David Brooker did a "Caddie Knows Best" with JYK. He almost lost it one time in the media center of an event I was working when he was standing behind the main desk making a phone call with his back to everyone.  After he wrapped up he remained seated in that position looking at a cell phone. A journalist, who I am 99.9% sure had no idea who he was came in and tapped him on the shoulder to ask if he was the rules official? He freaked out and started saying " No, I'm not doing an interview, I don't do any tv, interviews or anything leave me alone please." When a simple, no, I'm not a rules official would have sufficed. I don't see how some of the nicest players in the game have had him as a caddie then again Suzanne was not oozing honey but I would say she was just super intense.

If anything this season proves that Yealimi Noh is two-three levels down from Jin Young Ko and Nelly Korda.  Neither her ballstriking nor her putting is top notch; the climb to the top is steep.

She's been the youngest among regular LPGA players; that will change with the upcoming Q-Series.  Hopefully she'll forgo modeling and endorsements in the off season and transforms herself into a competitive player come January, 2022.
