I think the insurance payout was based on being unable to compete at the professional level, but it might not say he could not play GOLF for fun. LIV is not a professional tour at this point. It should not be an issue for him with the insurance.

Yeah I don't really get all the hype for Kim.

 

Yes he was once young and really talented but he only had 1 really good year on tour in the few years before his injury. People remember him for either the most birdies in a round at the Masters or the 2008 Ryder Cup.
