2019 predictions

Probably much too early and way too ambitious but it’s the off season and we need something to chat about. I’m wondering what your predictions are for the 2019 season?

The format I’ll use but everyone can do there’s however..

The Players: Tony Finua

Masters: Jordan Spieth

PGA: Xander Schauffele

US Open: Tiger Woods

The Open: Rory Mcilroy

FedEx Cup top three

1. Xander Schauffele

2. Brooks Koepka

3. Justin Thomas

Players to reach #1 this season

Brooks Koepka

Justin Rose

I think Xander will have a huge coming out party this year and reach the top 5 as well as a bit of resurgence from Jordan and Rory this year. Brooks to stay #1 almost all year.

Spieth has something special at Augusta. The course just works for him. Except #12 a few times but overall he plays good golf there.

That's quite the prediction to say Justin Rose will reach #1 in 2019. Really going out on a limb there.

    Masters - Justin Thomas

For me like the rest of you it's golf 24/7 for me... Growing up in the Tiger hay day my predictions for this year are.

I don't care which major it is but I fully expect Tiger to get 1. My other prediction is Spieth will continue to struggle and look like a wack job while he is "close" at every post round interview. Wow I'm glad i'm not biased here, aren't you image/biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

This is who I would LIKE to win:

    Players: Casey

    Masters: Rose

    Open: Sergio

    US Open: Phil M

    PGA: Tiger

Unfortunately I predict none of the above is correct!

I see Koepka winning something, maybe DJ. Of the above I think Tiger is most likely to bag one....

A bit dull arguing which punter inside the top 20 wins a major, they are all capable.

Outside the top 50, I think Luke List has a big year.

Will back him smalls the win and larger a top 10 every start.

I take the field on everyone else's predictions.

if Tiger gets a major in 2019 it will be the masters. i know he routed everyone at pebble 20 years ago but he hates that course i don't see him fairing all that well there. The PGA is at bethpage, and again he won there almost over a decade ago. there is too much power out there now and i dont think he will is accurate enough off the tee for that course. plus if the ryder cup or hero world championship is any indicator. he could have a long rough year.

a better prediction for Tiger is that he has at least two questionable on course rulings this year. That has higher odds than a major win in my opinion.
