I just received it. I was told it was custom made for the guy I got it from. The hosel gives it a toe up balance (it’s actually in between completely toe up and face balanced, about 1:30 hang). Head only weighed 330 grams so I’m trying to find some heavier weights for the sole. Gonna just roll with some lead tape until I can locate some. The smooth face feels awesome, not to soft and not to firm.

Walked into PIA the other day and saw this guy sitting there. Traded in a couple old clubs and got it for a grand total of $16.00.

Top is very messy, dinged with a terrible paint job. Face is really good and so is the bottom.

 

Was looking to get it refinished and then sell it but I tried it on the green before our Saturday scramble and kinda liked it so I used it during the scramble.

 

Now I love it and don't want to send it away for 4 weeks.

I didn't even know 45g weights were an option.  Thought they just went up to 40g.

You won't get your money out of refinishing this and then reselling it (I've had 3, they aren't that valuable).  Best to just keep using it and refinish if you want to keep it.  Otherwise, just sell it as is.

I just got those from eBay. I don’t think Scotty makes anything over 40. I tried em with the stock shaft and it was so whippy. Feels great with the stability though.

Well, you could be right but good versions of this same putter are at asking prices of $300+ on eBay.

 

I've checked a few customizers websites and one can get a pretty darn good-looking job done with a variety of paintfills for about $125 or so.
